Im a windows 7 fan and needed a new laptop. This was the perfect size and perfect price. I use it mainly for recording music and it serves the purpose excellent with no problems.

This has been a great computer for me. I bought this for my home office, wanted something large enough that I could really see my work but still portable for the days when I want to take my show on the road. This fits the bill perfectly. I will say, finding a backpack to carry this monster in was challenging, but otherwise, I have nothing but praise for this machine.

As a novice in the PC world my concerns were; Price, practicality, technical support, and easy to use. Still on a learning curve, but the experience has not been as frustrating / stressful as I imagined. Having a home computer is fast becoming a necessity. As a senior citizen who is not technically savvy I'm pleasantly surprised. This product has exceeded my expectations in multiple ways.

I purchased this laptop for my parents. They use it mainly for playing games, watching Netflix, Skyping the grandkids and storing pictures. They love it.

I have purchased Acer's in the past with very good luck. On this go round, the first laptop purchased had bad screen. Returned to store with no issues and the replacement is great. Screen very clear. Laptop is not hot after using for a period of time. For $500 it is a great investment. Was nice that it was one of the few out there with Windows 7 installed.

I bought this to replace a 1 yr old HP with Windows 8.1 that crashed 3 times in a year. I bought this also to get Intel processor as AMD processors are junk. This Acer runs 10x faster and starts up in 20 seconds. Great investment well worth the money! Plenty of storage. Being that it is made by Gateway helps also. No more HP for me

I wanted a large screen since the laptop was replacing a standard PC, also wanted Windows 7. Very satisfied with the product so far.

The computer was very easy to set up. It uses windows seven which I find easier to use than windows 10 . The only problem I have had is fthat the touchpad is very sensitive and I often delete emails by mistake. It's recoverable problem but a nuisance

This is my first laptop and it takes a while to adjust to the changes, but it meets my needs. I downloaded Windows 10 and it is not working correctly and I was told they are working on a patch to correct the problems. I really like the large screen and the problems I've had are from my internet provider and not the computer. I've only had it one month and cannot really give you a true review since half that time my internet provider was having problems.

It was time for a new laptop so I bought one with Windows 8 but that didn't agree with me so I returned it. Fortunately Best Buy still has this model with Windows 7. It's a very good laptop especially for the price. I'm even thinking of getting another one.

This has Windows 7 plus all the needed goodies to do what a normal person needs while traveling.

Great basic laptop.. placement of head phone jack and USB make using mouse a bit rough unless on a large desk. The .i3 is better than my old .i3 but my other laptop has an SSD drive which out performs this spinning hard drive all day long. The M drive is very cool but the disks are very expensive but a must for permanent archive and backups

Bought this for my wife as a Christmas present. She loves it. It works fast and is reliable.

We were looking for a computer to replace our desktop machine...needed something with large HD & good RAM for gaming, etc. Decided to go with a laptop & we are happy we did.

Nice big screen with average quality display, more power than I need for every day stuff, but just enough to make me comfortable when I do ask more of it. Good price for the size and power. Still testing battery life, so far so good.

It was easy to get the computer up and running. No Problems.

We had to have a laptop with windows 7 for homeschooling and this fit perfectly since its hard to find them now without windows 8. Yes 7 was needed because the programs that are used for schooling do not work for windows 8 so that was out of the question.

This is my first new laptop in several years. I ordered it because I cannot stand Windows 8. It is fast and works well. No problems at all.
