Too heavy

Good cpu for the money

Great laptop

Couldn't be happier!!! It's fast, clear, and easy to set up and use. The Windows 7 is a bonus too as 8 is terrible. Highly recommend this for everyday use

Great laptop, fast and easy to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first NEW laptop. I had a old laptop running windows XP and decided it was time to upgrade. I wanted something with more memory, RAM and more speed. I found it all with this laptop. The screen is HUGE and amazing. Bright and clear picture. Out of the box it was quick to setup (minutes). I did remove a lot of unneeded software and add ons. Acer games, games for kids, other programs I would never use or need. Once I removed some extra bulk it was perfect. Windows 7 is amazing. Different from XP. It took me no time at all to figure everything out. The only thing I didn't like was there wasn't Microsoft office installed on the laptop. Go to youtube and search 'Acer Aspire E177' for some great reviews.

Defective right out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Acers have never let me down until now. Set up was easy. Then the screen disappeared. Called BestBuy tech support. Was told it was a "software glitch" and had to bring it to BestBuy Geek squad. 45 min later-travel time- Geek squad advised it was not a glitch but was "defective." Went through complicated - they don't make it easy- return process. Got my credit card credited. I will be looking for another brand. Just complete aggravation, thanks to Acer AND BestBuy.
