    The Chromebook does not work like a Windows laptop. It does not used Word or Excel the same way. You have to use CLOUD storage for everything and it has to transfer all files back and forth from the Chromebook to the CLOUD and vice versa. It's SO awkward to use and frustrating. All companies should STOP making Chromebooks.

      Chromebooks are different from Windows laptop products in that they are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and documents living in the cloud. Because of this they don’t have much for on-board storage but they also are not expensive either. Chromebooks run off apps like an Android phone or tablet so you cannot download and install applications or .exe files. If you need to use third party software applications that must be installed on the computer, a Chromebook is likely not for you, where a Windows laptop would suit you better.     This Chromebook is a small wonder, It has a 12.2 inch touch screen which can be used with a pen. The battery life is extremely long lasting, it does not have a backlit keyboard so the battery lasts longer. It charges up super fast.The hinge is strong and the screen holds its position and the whole laptop can be picked up and moved about with ease with one hand. Its super fast being an I-3, I was able to open many tabs at one time, Has 1 usbC and two USB A plus and HDMI port, I have a larger Acer 516 Ge and an older Lenovo duet which slowed down to a crawl and needed a small Chromebook.

    Very limited time with it because the website’s description stated it had a backlit keyboard, but unfortunately it does not. Confirmed with Acer and Best Buy that it does NOtT have the backlit keyboard like the description notes. Hopefully they changed it be correct. It did seem like a nice machine thought from the few hours I had it in my possession.

    I was a little skeptical at first but i love it. I had an older chromebook not sure if I necessarily wanted an ipad and computer into one but it is SO convenient. Especially with doing my homework and note taking.
