    Bought during X-mas sale, worked great. Screen was bright and had great color. Solid construction, body was stiff, stayed cool. Definitively recommend Acer Predator.

    Acer Helios 300 is an amazing gaming laptop for the price. It has everything you need to play games on high settings with a steady frame rate. The 144hz monitor is also very nice to have included with laptop since it’s what you’ll be looking at all the time.

    The temps run really cool, after doing my usual tweaks I manage to game at comfortable 60fps with roughly 50c-60c on cpu and gpu. Fan temps run really fairly quiet, this laptop gets my seal of approval. Acer clearly did their work right with this laptop.

    I've been using this laptop for over 10 months and I love it. Great value. Great performance. Great cooling and heat management. Great screen. I have had no issues. I recently opened it up to clean the vents and re-paste the cpu and gpu and that was super easy. I do wish Acer would get rid of the 2.5" SSD slot. It takes away room for a bigger battery. Which is weak because it's so small. You will NOT get 6 hours as advertised. You're gonna get around 3.5 hours, on battery saver, to do normal/light stuff. There's no need for the 2.5" SSD slot when there is an empty nvme ssd slot. With a bigger battery, I'm sure You could get around 5 hours of light use with this thing. But nevertheless, I highly recommend this laptop,

    The specs on this thing looked amazing when I researched gaming laptops. I ended up returning because it just felt cheaply made. I wasn't a fan of the display, in particular the screen they used. I was hoping for something more like a LED type of screen. My initial boot up was seamless and i had no problem with performance when I ran benchmarks. I just wasn't a impressed with the screen and chassis. I would only buy if on sale on you don't mind the screen.

    Good overall but way too loud when gaming and thermal starts kick in which make this laptop uncomfortable to use
