The Iconia One 10 is the latest in a series of budget priced Android tablets. It is entering an increasingly crowded market space targeted at entry level tablets. The unpacking experience was good, everything was well protected and the contents include a charger, mini to standard sized USB cable and a plastic tripod for hands-free use of the tablet. The initial power up, configuration and marathon upgrades session went well although much slower than I am used to. It feels like the processor is adequate but certainly could be peppier! I had no problem connecting to WiFi and the complement of included apps is decent. My wife has been the primary user of this unit and she has pronounced it very usable for Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram. It also seems to play YouTube videos adroitly although the screen resolution is somewhat modest. She also like the white color. Her overall evaluation? "Cute".... I believe this would be a good option as a second tablet or possibly for the casual user or for your kids. I personally would opt for something with a higher resolution screen and better performance.

At the beginning I felt deception because I had issues connecting to my wireless at home, I have a Dlink wifi router and the connection was slow, and the signal was dropping constantly, I though the Wireless transmitter was defective, however I noticed that a firmware was pending to do that supposedly fix some issues, but because the unit was unable to complete the update, it was like it was doing circles. So I went to a different Wireless Network, and then It was able to download, slowly, and complete the firmware update. But once it was completed, the story was totally different, the connection improved a lot, I installed Netflix, VUDU, Amazon prime, Microsoft Office Suite, I have played videos, the screen and video is very good, the android OS is extremely useful. I really like the fact that I can copy and edit files, and take them out, just using a pen drive, things that you cannot do with Ipads. I also tried the Skype App with no problems at all. For the price you pay for this unit you can do all the basic actions that an expensive one does.....

Battery life is terrible. From a fully charged battery I am lucky to get 20 minutes use before I have to plug it back in for another charge.

its gets slow once you get more apps downloaded and after I figure it out too late it pass 3 days Best Buy refunded me a store credit.

This tablet was basic and did not provide some on the features I wanted so I traded up to a Samsung which better suited my needs.

The tablet came with a DOS prompt, and no quality speakers, I had to take it back 2x before I exchanged it for another tablet

Dont waste your money buy the samsung! I mean if browsing the web is all you do it would work but umm LOL

Slow, freeze up problems, battery takes about 6 hours to take a charge, then lasts for only about 45 minutes.

This is a nice looking tablet, especially for the price. The screen is relatively clear and somewhat crisp. The battery is also great - last for quite a few hours. My gripes with this tablet are related to the speed/performance. It seems to lock up on me when having more than two apps open (this is because the tablet only has 1GB of RAM). It's not a bad tablet, but if you are in the market for an Android tablet, I would recommend looking for one with at least 2GB of RAM for better performance. In closing, it is an average Android tablet - not my favorite, but certainly not terrible by any means. Just wish it had a little more RAM to help deal with running apps.

Tab stopped working in the first week of purchase itself. Not getting switched on

Total non-sence product..... hardly used for 2 weeks and now its not working...

Didn't last even 1 week. Returned it and bought a Samsung for my grandson.

Overall, this tablet is a good tablet with only a few things that could be better on it. Most importantly, the screen is pretty crisp, clear and bright with good viewing angles. The speed of the tablet is overall is good enough for most apps/games though it did seem to struggle a little with multi-tasking updates in the background while using the tablet. The battery life is pretty good and lasts a good day. The speakers are pretty good and the sound is on par with other tablets. I do wish it had a bit more bass. The one thing I didn't care for is the pre-installed apps on it. Overall, I'd recommend this tablet as a good Internet/Netflix tablet. Would be a great tablet for everyday use.

The keyboard was much too small, and it was difficult to navigate Word.

Slow....intermittent wifi when within 10 feet of a super wifi router

I got this table for my 13 year old daughter and she really likes it. She has many apps on the tablet and is able to use them all. She primarily enjoys watching Netflix and Youtube on the tablet. She also enjoys being able to use Word on this device. She gave out 4 stars because it takes a while to start up and she said the camara lags. Overall, she is very happy with this tablet.

touch screen is really unresponsive. took back immediately

I was pleasantly surprised by this tablet. It's a great size and weight. It came preloaded with a TON of kid friendly apps and was simple to set up. When I ordered this item I wasn't expecting a lot. However Acer has changed my mind. My Son has not put it down since opening it. The battery is great. The screen was bright & the touch screen was smooth. The included MS office apps were also a plus for my older daughter doing homework while at my other child's soccer practice. The ability to set it up as a sole KIDS tablet is much easier than anything else (apple) that I have tried to restrict or limit.
