Purchased this one by mistake. Wanted an Android tablet, but the salesman brought this one by mistake. Didn't realize it until we got home with it. Took it back and exchanged it for an Android. would probably be good for someone who wanted a windows tablet tho...

It's slow. I mean real slow. It has junk-ware. This screen is way too small and the interface is clumsy. Wireless connectivity seems iffy. Is it better than nothing? -That's a question, not an answer.

Bought this for my grandson. Had to take it back to Best Buy 3 times for repair. It was returned to Acer and received a new motherboard which lasted about 2 weeks before it needed another motherboard. BB replaced the whole unit with a different tablet. Obviously Acer has an issue with this product.

Works great. Enjoy using it. Just wish it had HDMI.

- I read a lot of reviews before buying this. I first purchased the brand new Dell 11 3000 mini laptop (the blue one), and the Lenovo ideapad 100s, both 11.6 inch plain old laptops. The Dell, while beautiful, sucked. The CPU was maxed out doing anything (including moving the mouse around). I tried the one at the store as well, same thing. I swapped for the Lenovo, great little computer, but no multi-touch/gesture trackpad and just not useful enough to chuck money at. So I got this. It's great. I realldell 11.6 inch computery like it. I've had it for a little over a week now. There are some issues with it, it's a little buggy. The screen has turned off on me twice to where I had to hard-shut down (hold the button for 4 seconds) and turn it back on. People complain about it losing wifi alot, it only happens when I shut the laptop (putting it into sleep mode) and walk around for a while. Then you just turn the wifi off and back on and you're good. The CPU and memory are pretty decent. I multi-task a lot on it. I've also played some games (emulators, candy crush, flight simulators, etc.). It does everything I need it to do for school (I'm a senior or Portland State), and then some. It's not the lightest thing, and the top heavy screen is a little odd, but it's a small price to pay for a cheap 2 in 1 (I bought mine for $179.99 in-store). Now I don't have to buy a tablet or kindle for reading all the research articles I have to study. The biggest downside to me is that the charging time is kind of ridiculous (4+ hours), but it's no worse than the Lenovo ideapad. The batter charge is iffy, it certainly could be better, but I usually use it for 4 for 5 hours and then charge it again (I try to keep it between 20 and 90% for battery life). I would consider getting the Acer Aspire Switch, due to longer battery life, but we're talking an over $100 dollar difference. All in all, I have another week to decide if I'm keeping it, and thus far it beats the other two I tried (the whole reason I got something new is that my full size Toshiba laptop's battery croaked [still works but has to stay plugged in], and it's heavy enough that I have to choose to take my laptop or my text books on any given school day... now I can take 'em all! [though that is still heavy in and of itself]). Maybe I'll update this later, but as far as the computer goes, I'd call it a 3.5 star laptop and still be happy to recommend it to people. I'm cheap, and I prefer it that way.
