Sucks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been the most aggravating tablet ever. It is constantly having issues connecting to wifi. Diagnostic comes up with 3-4 different issues (wifi adapter, loosing network protocols, ect.)that it cannot solve itself, then it will mysteriously work hours or days later.I've had it since August 2015 and have had only a few weeks of unproblematic Internet connectivity. Ready to throw it in the garbage and get something else!!!

Still uncertain...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to say this is a great 2in1, alas: -It beeps for seemingly no reason -Notifications are rampant, even when you thought they were off -Updates are ominous I have not yet given up on trying to make this work perfectly.

Great for on the go person
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got it to have a smaller laptop to carry around campus so my backpack could be lighter. I like how portable it is. The only downside is that it take a long time to charge.

Cheaper Alternative To An iPad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tablet for my wife because she kept stealing my iPad. She is not very technical and has no problems using this tablet. The added keyboard lets her use it just like a mini laptop. Since it doesn't have much onboard storage I set her up with a One Drive Account and an Office 365 account and she stores all her documents and pictures in the cloud.

Really good...it is more than I expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was expecting just a tablet that functions like a tablet, but to my surprise this function more like a pc. If I had seen this item before I wouldn't have bought a laptop. Good job Acer

Burner Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can't expect from a $200 laptop. All in all, it gets the job done. Like everyone here said, the wifi card on this Acer doe tend to lag loading websites. I've yet to receive an error message or disconnect symbol, it just loads slow sometimes. I run a few simple coding programs on this Acer for onsite diagnostics and troubleshooting, but would never consider using this as my primary device. It's basically the laptop equivalent of a burner cellphone. The touch actually works pretty darn well, I was surprised. I will switch hit between using the trackpad and touchscreen at the same time. Battery life is so, so. Seems to run for a solid 5-6 hours straight on a full charge. Does take forever to charge backup to full! Heat and noise are pretty non-existent. You get what you pay for. If you need a laptop that you can afford to loose, then this is a good choice at $200. If you're a student or business professional, spend the extra $400-$500 on a decent processor and memory.

Great little laptop/tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my wife's birthday for a laptop to carry around. Perfect for that and at the Black Friday price it was a no brainer. Her IT guy at work even was impressed with the thing.

Its a great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally did lot of research before buying it, and after fully testing it I am writing this review. Over all its a great product. Speed is normal if you dont install more apps. Touch is awesome. The best part is its flexibility to use this as a laptop as well as touchpad.

Returned 2X - Computer not finding wifi networks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered in on black friday and returned it about a week later because suddenly the computer could not locate ANY wireless connections. The GeekSquad could not figure it out either. so i exchanged it for another one - this was sunday (12/6). well, this evening, all of a sudden, this new one also fails to locate a wireless connection despite the fact that i had been using it earlier this afternoon. i promptly returned it for a refund. the price was great but what's the point if it doesn't work. i'm not sure this is a well made problem because i also had problems even turning on the first one. the customer service woman was very pleasant to deal with

repeated hardware system failures
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.purchased as a gift for my wife X-mass 2015, after finding very few negative reviews for 2 months. really supra-glad we got the GS insurance plan. not even a month after, we noticed it wouldn't keep time and then it started freezing up. we brought it in, turned out the main board fried. it went in multiple times for this same issue. by the end of May it was doing it again. this time it even lock fried a micro memory stick. lucky me I believe in multi back ups. during G-Squad remote fix, it went into a seizure and then crashed. by seizure, I mean like a person does, flashing screen and eventual rainbow stripes. tried to restart it with no luck. I could see it as a fluke if it only happened once. but 4 times having gone in for repair tells me its more than just fluke or they didn't fix the right thing. we did exchange for a different model. going to give flex a try. man do I wish Toshiba made a tablet with an AMD.

Internet Adapter Dies
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit on Black Friday for my daughter to use at college, a small portable unit that would be easy to take notes on in class. All systems were go when she had the unit here at home, but when she return to school, the wireless adapter would not work. After tireless attempts to remedy the situation (including extended time with Acer Tech Support), we have decided to return it for a refund and look at other options. One thing a Geek Squad tech told me was that Windows 10 has issues with the wireless adapters in less expensive units. Too bad, the overall look and features were exactly what we were looking for.

Looses the wireless driver or bad chip
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It just completely vanishes off the face of the earth. I went through 2 in the space of 13 days. The first one lasted me 9 days, I went to Walmart and back, wrote in my novel that I am writing, got back and saw a wired icon with a ! (exclamation point) on it. Further exploring revealed that the driver was MIA so I downloaded it from Acer itself, put it on via a usb disk and tried to install it. Sadly, it didn't work. A reboot didn''t do it, a reg clean uninstall and reinstall didn't work, not even a factory reset worked. The second one did it within 36 HOURS! So I upgraded to the HP pavilion 2x tablet which has everything but the back facing camera. Hopefully I will finally find my windows 10 tablet in the HP, we'll see.

Not what I expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a small laptop/tablet combination and saw some good reviews on this one, but not what I expected when I picked it up. It was heavy, some actual laptops are lighter. And even though it had Windows 10, it just felt so old. Had to exchange it.
