Great for the cost, but serious wifi issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this little guy, it's just like having a perfectly portable laptop. Great for travel or for toting to my D&D games. Excellent battery life. It's a little slow, but it's a little guy, and it tries its best. However. Every time Windows updates or the tablet updates or something updates, which it does without my permission, it completely deletes the WiFi drive. So you can't get on the internet at all without either doing a refresh to factory settings or calling Acer to have them walk you through some sort of other thing. This is apparently a known issue, I've tried every trick in the book. I bought mine in December, experienced this issue within three days of purchasing it. I call Acer to get the problem fixed, they swear the fix they lead me through is going to solve the problem once and for all. Then I have to repeat the process about every 3-5 weeks. It's now August. When I got too frustrated with Acer to continue with the non-fixing fixes, they told me to go to Best Buy to return it instead of offering to deal with it themselves. And by that point, it was past the return policy for Best Buy. Which I understand, no problem with Best Buy. Acer's attitude is that I should just keep calling them for a temporary fix instead of providing a permanent solution. Acer won't give me a new one, they won't give me information on how to exchange it because it's under warranty (for now). They've been an absolute nightmare to work with. I'd buy another one, assuming it's just my tablet that's the problem, but I just don't trust it anymore.

Good for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a decent little laptop for small things like streaming, the detachable screen makes it even better for that purpose.

Good for the price but..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the disk space is really low. Windows 10 takes a lot of space and you are barely left with anything. So you cannot install a lot of programs or apps.

Regret buying it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first, it seemed a great buy, but it immediately started having problems. At first, Wi-fi connection is lost, the picture would not adjust properly, the clock would freeze. I was patient with it but now I just recently sent it for repair because it would no longer turn on only 8 MONTHS of having it. ACER just sent me a new power cord, 4 days later, it doesn't turn on again. ACER never sent me a diagnosis of what was done for the repair. They sent it back with a dent and now I am sending it again because they didn't fix it the first time. Also, just trying to contact ACER is the worst. Couldn't get through the phone, so I do the online support chat, but it is still frustrating I can't get my tablet fixed.

Worked Great For A Day
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read many of the reviews complaining about connectivity problems and thought, "Those must be a few lemons." Well, I got one. After 24 hours, no longer could detect the network adapter. You're taking a chance when buying this. I'm lucky that it happened a day in and I could take it back.

Faulty Network Card
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On my second one of these (returned the first one), on both devices the network card dropped the internet constantly. This model has a faulty network card in it; take my advice and buy something else. This device just isn't worth the headache.

If I could give them less I would. Cheap trash.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 3 for my kids. Less than 2 months of use and 1 touch screen has stopped working. 2 of them no longer recognize a Windows 10 compatible external DVD drive. The other randomly reboots and crashes. Complete junk. I have spent more time troubleshooting, patching, updating drivers, etc than these are worth. Completely useless for my kids to use for their school work. Multiple restores already performed.

Great little tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For just over the cost of the OS, you get a great small tablet. I now own 3 of these for the grandkids and my wife to use.

Worst tablet ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing but trouble with this tablet. Had to call tech support 4 days in a row till I called it quits. Shows dont play. Screen keeps freezing. Very slow. If I could get a show to play it always had two sounds...one from the show I wanted to watch and another from some unidentifiable show. Beware do not buy

inexpensive, almost disposable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has nice specs, but only average quality. Case feels like cheap plastic. Only used it for 3 days now and it keeps dropping internet connection and battery display inaccurate. Doesn't seem built to last.

Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just owned long enough that I have to send in for repair and cannot return to the store! Unit will not turn on with out draining the battery as per my call to Acer and that I need to send it in. Need this for my business so need to wait a little longer. However now it will not charge for longer then 15 seconds. Unhappy customer. Best Buys advice on which tablet to purchase was "They are all the same". With advice like that my next purchase will be else where.

Don't waste your money on an Acer computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this computer last August. It has been sent out no less than 7 times to be fixed. (5 replacement mother boards/keyboards/circuits etc). Our warranty expired while it was sent out to be fixed. The company will not replace this "lemon" and instead continues to "fix" it. The problems range from not holding a charge to keyboard malfunctions to overheating.

Don't do it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 2 in 1 is not worth purchasing, I bought to take some of the load off of my ipad 1st gen. The tablet is only used one or two times a month and keyboard already stopped connecting . My 5 year old is now the primary user. Uses it for small games that it has trouble with. Very disappointed that it can't handle the little bit of work I was using it for. Waste of money, freezes too much.. in store employees semi useless.

Inconsistent Performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned it after spending more than 2 hours trying to set it up, after spending 4 hours to charge it first. I went through the initial steps without too much trouble without using the keyboard. Then, when I tried to register with Acer, the virtual onscreen keyboard did not work. I got hold of Acer on the phone and the solution offered was to take another 2-3 hours to reload the operating system. (Acer case # 4370466U) If something won't work right out of the box, I'm not willing to spend MY time trying to fix it. I returned it the next day.
