this laptop runs really hot even when it's not being used. I hope to have it for years.

It broke with in a month but it did have pretty good frames

Horrible battery life, not worth wasting your money on unfortunately how I wasted mine since Best Buy won’t take this computer back. I’d give it back for free that’s how horrible it is. Save your time and money and invest in a better functioning and longer lasting computer.

bought it had it for 10 days before it became inoperable. i was getting constant blue screens on really low teir games i think it shoudlve handled fine.

Works well when you first buy it but when you can not register your product all the driver go out of date. They really dont care about customer service.

Started having issues in avout 6 months, possible hardware failures.

This laptop has exceeded my expectations! I bought this mostly for WoW but it runs that and everything like a champ! No matter the effects on screen there's no lag and FPS stays high. I'd like highly recommend this awesome little laptop!

I bought the Acer-Predator Helios Neo 16" to replace a failed 2 year old unit from a different manufacturer. The on-line buying and in-store pickup process was flawless and very easy. Once home and out of the box I was struck with the lightweight, but very solid build quality. No cheesy plastic flexing, creaks etc. Once started up the screen color and image quality well exceeded my expectations. My wife has been using the Acer daily for over a month now and it has been flawless. My aging MacBook is nearing time for a replacement and I am seriously considering replacing it with another Acer-Predator Helios Neo 16.

Powerhouse for the price. Latest Intel 13TH Gen CPU, 40 series GPU. It has no problems running the games I throw at. Steam, Discord, Chrome all running in the background, not a single hiccup. Having a 165Hz display is great w/ 3ms response time is a plus on a gaming laptop. Battery life is okay, a few hours on balanced mode, its to be expected on a gaming laptop, performance is much better while plugged in, (obviously). Note : the laptop does run a little hot while under full load, but I'm running a Keibn cooler underneath so that helps the CPU and GPU from thermal throttling during long gaming sessions, and prolong the life of the laptop. I do plan on upgrading the ram to 32GB in a few weeks, so that would help with multitasking (chrome browser eats up a lot of ram). And also throwing in another additional NMVe SSD for extra storage for games/documents. Overall I'm very happy with this gaming laptop, it gets the job done and some, I'll update again if needed.

The laptop it’s amazing I use it for school and to play some videogames the reason I purchase this laptop was because my brother always annoyed me saying that he wanted to play on the pc I build so I bought this laptop to give that computer to him and the laptop it’s insane it runs the games way better than the desktop pc I build 10/10

This particular laptop was recommended by a friend. It was more than I expected performance wise and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is the baulder gate machine and it baulders gates so good. The fan can get loud but that is neither here or there. Love this bad boy and for the price its so worth it

I really like this laptop. It’s my first gaming laptop and I’m wowed by it performance. It’s a good lookin unit too.

I purchased an additional 16gb of ram and more storage ssd. These were both upgrades approved by the staff and geek squad. When attempting to complete the upgrade, geek squad struggles to remove the casing. The design is somewhat difficult. With that said, they were able to complete the process for me along with providing some education around learning on my own. Once i went home to try out my games with the new specs .... bluescreen, freezing, and crashing. Doing some research, this appears to be a very common issue with this laptop. I can no longer play on this laptop until I revert the upgrades....a wasted $300 in parts.

it has been a little glitchy but the glitches seem to be going away. cool laptop. the battery last maybe an hour, if that.

Great for gaming, heavy as lead and pathetic batter life. On a full charge with one browser it may last 45 minutes. As a rule of thumb I either keep power in all the time which kills battery over time or run it on battery save as soon as I remove the power cord. Acer support only has TWO dedicated support people in the entire USA and they are pathetic as well.

Very happy with this laptop! Easy to retrieve and set up the information I had on my old laptop that died.
