Wanted a basic gaming laptop so I didnt have to always sit at my gaming pc. Works great. Battery life isnt great but most gaming laptops arent. Fans can get decently loud, but it's to be expected. Plays all the games I tried to play. Awesome price. Screen looks nice. Keys feel nice. Full size ethernet port as well as USB Type C.

I bought this laptop about a month ago and it has far exceeded my expectations. This laptop is extremely fast and is very capable of multitasking. I was able to run multiple intensive apps with zero lag whatsoever. The graphics are pretty good but they usually run at 95% when I play COD or similar games. I do plan on upgrading the storage in the future. The build quality seems very sturdy and I have no issues with that. Battery life is fine when you're doing basic internet browsing but horrible when playing games, which is to be expected from such a high-powered computer. Overall, this is a very good laptop and I am more than pleased with my purchase. Even better if you can find it on sale. If you're looking to buy this laptop, don't hesitate.

This laptop is an absolute powerhouse. I highly recommend it to others in the market for a new computer when they want performance and durability. Two friends of mine have bought this same one and the model just under it. Form and function with incredible speed and a gorgeous design. I love how cool it stays on my lap even when gaming at max graphic settings. It can be a little loud at times, but that’s when it’s in turbo mode and the games are running hard. I’m looking forward to spending years with this beast and because it’s a gaming rig it’s easier to update hardware too! So happy with this purchase even 9 months later!!!

Like the laptop plays all my games just at a lower setting doing to it being a 4050 graphics card but having only 512 gb if you a gamer might be worth upgrading to a larger hard drive or ssd or for me i boght an external to hold all my games so i can take it with me. I would consider an ssd but for the storage capacity they are just too expensive right now. I am using a 2tb right now but going to transfer everything to a 4tb one. Battery life is terrible but i guess thats normal for gaming laptops so its always plugged in. Also the fans being on back and side helps it vent but my hands get hot and its hard to find a spot that they don't but overall i haven't really had any issues with it. If you are looking for a i would say gaming laptop to get buy definitely worth it but i plan on upgrading to a more powerful one because i didn't know i was going to use it as much as i do. But for a cheaper gaming pc it works.

Died in less than 1.5 years

I purchased this laptop primarily for photo editing. Coming from Toshiba Tecra laptops that lasted 10+ years each, I was hoping to get at least 4-5 years out of this gaming laptop. I was wrong. THE GOOD: - Screen. Rich colors, minimal glare, good size. - Performance. Great, for a couple hours at a time. What took my last laptops days to complete (3 days to add light noise reduction on 75 photos in Lightroom), this laptop did in less than 15 minutes. Batch edits always went quickly. - Modifications. The reason I usually buy PCs is because you can upgrade the hardware. This laptop has two M.2 SSD slots and two RAM slots. I did throw in a couple Samsung Evo drives (1TB and 4TB) and Corsair RAM (2x16 GB). With Windows, you can never have too much RAM. I also upgraded the OS to Windows 11 Pro. THE BAD - Battery Life. This was the first gaming computer I ever purchased and it shows with this comment. If I wanted to be tethered to power/battery, I would have purchased a desktop. I was expecting to get more than 2 hours of battery life out of this laptop when just browsing the internet or reading e-books for school. 2-3 hours max battery life is what you get with this beast. - Longevity. I was looking for something that would last at least the average lifespan of 4-6 years. I’ve dealt with enough computers where getting the protection plan is pointless, I can repair them myself. Don’t do that with this laptop. Get the protection plan. The motherboard ended up dying just shy of 1.5 years. The laptop was not used much, and was always powered off when not in use. I was planning on just replacing the motherboard, but the cost was astronomical (over half of what I paid for the laptop alone) and/or delivery would take 3-6 months. The limited 1-year warranty already expired. I ended up just buying a new laptop. - Size. It’s an awkward size - more square than rectangular. This makes fitting it in backpacks a pain and it is difficult to find a good quality case for traveling. Due to the size and weight, I only travelled with this once. - Weight. It’s heavier than you expect. This isn’t exactly a bad thing if it just sits on a table or desk, but something portable should be a little lighter. While the size and weight of this device were excessive, they were listed clear as day in the description. It was my own fault for underestimating them. The laptop did work great for its short lifespan, but I am not a fan of spending that much money on something for it to croak well before it reaches the expected lifespan. Overall, I would not recommend this laptop. Spend your money on something better.

Ive had this laptop for a few months now it it preforms beyond expectations. I didn't want to spend over 1200 on a gaming laptop. I've ran lots of Texas chainsaw massacre and call of duty with no issues what so ever! I highly recommend. I plan on upgrading the ram after tht manufacturers warranty is up. My only complaint are the built in speakers. I hardly ever use them and didn't intend to use them. I use a gaming headset or earbuds but for 1150 they could have done way better. The volume without a headset or earbuds is absolutely disappointing. I'm still giving the laptop 5 stars because it doesn't matter to me. If you want something loud with out a headset, this isn't for you. Just being honest. Overall I highly recommend for the price!!!!

I love gaming on my laptop. It's a pretty powerful machine as far as I have experienced. The only issue is the battery life. It gets low super fast when playing. I basically need to keep it plugged most of the time that I am gaming. Everything else has been great though.

Yes it is true that this laptop gets hot and the fans get loud but only if you keep it on turbo mode for any game. Personally, putting it on performance mode keeps them at a reasonable level. Other than that this machine eats any task you throw at it. Predator Sense is a nice touch to customize the interals and the RGB keyboard which looks sick at all times. The screen looks and feels smooth when playing any game and I normally get 70+ fps with my average being 90fps. My only real complaint is the charging port is on the back which is just a weird maneuver to get to. In any case, this laptop is amazing especially with the rtx 4050. Highly recommended to anyone considering this laptop.

This laptop runs Diablo 4 and WoW beautifully at a solid 150 fps, with GeForce Experience's optimizing it at a mixture of ultra / high settings. My only suggestion if you get this laptop is to set a custom fan speed that will keep your laptop cool for particular games / settings you play. Leaving it on Auto in will cause temps to go up in the 70's, but my recommendation for longevity is to have your fans run at about 4000 rpm or higher, never lower for high end gaming. It's much cheaper to replace fan blades / runners than an entire laptop because it overheated. With the settings written above on Diablo 4, I was averaging temps of 40-50 degrees celcius on both the CPU and GPU, and that is extremely good for a lower end gaming laptop especially if you enjoy Blizzard games.

Allow playing CoD Warzone, BR etc with high graphics comfortably. Also, the CPU is extremely powerfull for a laptop, it even beats my desktop i5-12600K which I already consider a beast. It was impossible for me to remove the screws without the precision screwdriver. I did a upgrade in it to Crucial's 64GB RAM DDR5 4800MHz successfully. Acer's BIOS upgrade are very easy to make.

Absolutely love this laptop, it’s really fast and plays everything I’ve thrown at it. Only down side is you basically have to keep it plugged in when using, battery can’t keep up and it will lag horrendously if not plugged in (wasn’t expecting anything different). My first laptop ever owned and not disappointed, solely used for gaming and does a great job
