I absolutely love guy, the only comperable model out now is the PixelBook. I got the R13 a year ago, still great battery, boots up in seconds, strong & dureable enough travel the world with staying in 1 piece. Even today its faster than most PC's (& phones). I definitely suggest to pay a bit more for the MT8173 model. This version is upgraded witb 4GB RAM and 64GB FlashDrive. Way more than worth the extra cost.

Just a nice size, a bit heavier than expected. Love the touchscreen.

No waiting to get started. Only 2 complaints: 1) cannot print - need chrome-ready printer and 2) font size on internet pages is smaller than my windows based laptop (need to keep adjusting). I really like the quick access time.

No more waiting for Windows 10 to load, etc. Everything is faster than my HP laptop. Logging on is almost instantaneous. Programs open just as fast. Only this is sound but I attached a Bluetooth speaker and the sound is phenomenal.

Other than the OS misrepresented I like it. It would ne nice if the spec were accurate.

I have used my Chromebook for the past 2.5 years and absolutely love it! I work at a school and wanted to purchase my own to use and am so thankful I did! My touchscreen stopped working recently, so I'm looking into how to get that fixed, other than that no problems!!

Have seen some reviews that say bad things about this product. Some buyers are confused. Imagine someone buying a motorcycle and then complaining because it cannot carry as much cargo as a truck. Is the motorcycle bad? Reason I say this, is some buyers complain about the Chromebook operating system, by Google. And they compare it to a Windows notebook/laptop. Although they can look almost identical - they are different inside. My item - this Chromebook - runs as it should. And works as it should. I have no complaints about it. And for years, I used to do computer procurement for multiple state agencies. The thing is, the Google Android operating system on a smart phone and the Goggle operating system on a Chromebook - operate differently. A recent adjustment is the Chromebook can use apps from the Playstore. So ..sounds identical? Not exactly. On my smart phone its real easy to find a website, tap a few times and send that link to a friend. Its been over 3 weeks, and I still have not found how/if the Chromebook will allow me to send a link by email. And I have tried several places to find How To. I have been using a Android 9.7 inch tablet for 2 years. Wanted something with a larger screen with higher DPI (Dots Per Inch) for clearer screens. A 9.7 inch tablet has 40 square inches of screen. This 13 inch Chromebook has about 77.6 square inches. It is an adjustment to holding the heavier Chromebook, but its nice to be able to set it on your lap and not have to hold it for long periods of time.

This chromebook is amazing. It has excellent battery life and the display is one of the best I ever seen. I got mine a month ago and I'm very happy with it.

I got this laptop about three weeks ago. I was very satisfied originally, it did everything that was promised. However, after about two weeks it developed an issue where the screen would turn off and the computer would lock up when the screen was folded back into tablet mode I contacted Acer support and they suggested I reinstall ChromeOS, which I did (but would be outside the expertise of a normal user) and that fixed the issue for a week. Then the problem came back, so I got in contact again and it turns out they don't do replacements on broken laptops. I have to send it in for repair and wait 20 days to get it back. If they'd told me up front that their support was such a joke, I would have happily paid a bit more to buy from another company with better support. Most companies I've had to contact recently send out replacements in a day or two, so this is extremely poor. If you get lucky and your laptop works fine, you'll probably be very happy, but if yours develops an issue, get ready to be hung out to dry. You're much better off buying from a different manufacturer.
