Before Buying this i look at thousand of website and also Pricing with product details and all. Trust me to my surprise i didnt know that best buy would send me such a wonderful product. When I ordered I just wanted to get the best as i saw them in picture. I never thought they would send me such a beautiful item. They also send me A stylish pen also a MICRO SD CARD READER WITH 16GB MICRO SD card as gift.I was so happy to ge them. Also the pricing beats all the other website with this product. No one can give this price with such a spec. I would like to tell you that this is the best you can get. Just buy a extra screen protector and also a extra usb cable connection cable for your daily use. Rest The product is too good to use and battery life last too long then i expected. You just need to uninstall some default apps and make it your own action pack device. The default apps takes up too much charge just install some softwares which u need for daily use. Rest you will get battery life more then u can expect.

It looks like a great buy and it is for the most part. It has good speed and it has a colorful screen. It also comes with a free pen and keyboard unlike a Surface Pro. It is competitively priced; a surface pro with the same specs would be 1200-1300 dollars (the Surface pro is superior but not by enough of a margin to justify the price). The only con is that the battery life is short compared to other tablets, so be prepared to bring a charger.

Great display, runs cool with the I5 with liquid cooling. Speakers sound meh but all tablets sound lousy. Battery life could be better. Hopefully windows Creator update will improve battery run time otherwise this tablet performs flawlessly and gives Surface a run for its money.

First Unit was shipped in a timely manner but had a defective display. Shipment of the replacement unit was problematic and took 3 weeks. But Best Buy made good and even matched the competition's price which had dropped temporarily for this remanufactured unit. The unit matches my expectations (pros and cons) and is fast, versatile and practical.

I had this 2-in-1 for 2 years. Recently, it got stuck in a boot loop. Then after trying to restart in safe mode or restore to a previous boot, it bricked. Geek squad reports HD damaged, files likely irretrievable aside from spending a lot of money. This is the first time I've had a computer do this. Most have lasted me 6-7 years minimum, and then I would be able to at least boot in safe mode to backup any files I was working on or still needed. Therefore, I don't often backup files. Worked well, and I enjoyed the portability of this 2-in-1. I used it somewhat rarely because most of what I do on the computer outside of work, I now do on my phone. Lesson learned. I will be investing in backup storage with my next computer.

I liked my new 2 in 1 laptop. Fast, smart and light. It comes with a free pen and its high specifications make him great to do all you work you need. Recommend

So far this refurbished Acer Alpha Switch 12 is going strong. The only negative is battery life. I get about 5 hours. Other than that, I really like it. This Acer replaced a 2014 MacBook Air and gen 3 iPad. For my purposes (Word docs, Powerpoint, research etc. . .) it has been serving me really well and like it better than my old mac/iPad combo.

Saw this computer and it was better than the others 256 gigs ssd 8 for ram so are the other specs

This could be a great surface alternative, but it needs better execution and a better screen.

I just love this product. Before buying i was confuse But when i got it from best buy i started to use it for couple of weeks. Then now i am just in love with the product. Trust me its a awesome product.

I got it for travel and home it's battery life is excellent it will last 8 hours

I had to return this item as there was, in my estimation, some damage either to the keyboard or the contacts the keyboard attaches to the screen with. I did ensure all updates were installed and further investigated/researched the issue and that was the consensus. Could have been a fluke, but as it was my first-ever refurbished product and a negative experience, I ended up purchasing a new item (same model) and all seems to be well. Very thankful to Best Buy for making that transition smooth.

I was looking for a new computer and wanted something smaller than the 17" HPs I was used to. I started looking at 2-1s and although the Surface is nice and in my price range, I landed on the Acer Switch Alpha 12. I looked at different configurations and finally decided on this one. Although refurbished, I know Best Buy backs their refurbished products and that made me confident to buy. This version came with a backlit keyboard and the active stylus included, and double the SSD space than the brand new model I had been looking at. So far it has exceeded my expectations for a 2-1. I have no basis for comparison as I have never used the Surface, but the Acer has a beautiful display. 4K video looks amazing (used YouTube to sample) and even on half brightness it is still plenty bright. The i5 is fast and webpages load instantly. I have even used it to read books (Nook app for Windows needs work but it does the job) and I've only sampled OneNote briefly but it seeemd to work with ease with the active stylus. I knew buying it that the battery life wasn't that great (4 1/2 hours or so with moderate web use) but that hasn't taken away from the performance or satisfaction I've had with the computer. If you have more of a budget, need longer battery life and want to go for a Surface, then this might not be for you. However, if battery life isn't a deal breaker, you're on a budget, and want a great machine at a great price, then take a serious look at this. It is well worth it.
