I purchased an LG t.v. and a universal remote from Best Buy. The brand new remote stopped working the day after it was programmed, and the brand new t.v. will not work without it. Despite multiple calls, texts and two in-person visits to the store, 1 month later, I can use neither the television nor the universal remote. Multiple managers and sales clerks have sympathized, understood, expressed concern, and promised an exchange. Not one person has followed through. Apparently, there is no consequence at Best Buy for poor service, so, managers and sales persons needn't follow through on the promises made to customers. I purchased their Total Tech service. Lesson learned. When this is resolved, I will NEVER purchase anything from Best Buy ever again.

Buy a $1000 mrc remote couldnt get a tech to program it. Ended up returning it. Noticed the store took the display down. Dont sell what you know nothing about.

Remote programming task of a new remote device was again unsucessful in getting one remote control to provide service for multiple device controls of a home theater. Valiant attempt was made by technicians, but fix was not permanent of final.

The smart remote and the added universal remote control didn't work. Nothing against the Geek Squad Team that did the installation, but it just didn't work. I will be returning the items today

I am still waiting for my order items and have them installed. I purchased a home theater system from Best Buy / Magnolia around the 10th of December. I was given a date of Jan 21st when Geek Squad would install the home theater. It is Jan 30th and nothing is installed. I was told that the Amp is back ordered and so I have to wait. But I am not given any firm date on when I get the Amp and when everything will be installed. I have called couple people at Best Buy but I get their voice mail. But no call back. This is absolutely frustrating. I did not except this kind of service from Best Buy. And on top of that you are asking me to fill out a survey on how my installation went! You must be kidding!!
