The installer were terrible. Such bad attitudes. I assume they installed the side vent correctly because it is working but they did not have a clue on how to attach an "L" shape duct piece on the outside of the dryer and properly reduce the length of the duct vent tubing between the dryer and the duct vending in the ceiling. I did the work after they left. One of the installer did not wear his face mask once he got to my floor in the condo.

Disappointed with after sales service from BestBuy - the contract installers were great.

It was done well and quick. The one who installed it was reliable and efficient.

I am excited about my purchase. The only problem I had was the poor customer service at the 1-800 number

Very dissatisfied with the install. There are dents all over in my washer and dryer. They are not careful at all!

It was a bit frustrating at first because we needed special service for the side venting of the dryer. We waited quite a while for the appointment and even though I had requested side venting many times they were not prepared. The service man who came first was trained to side vent but he was very helpful in getting me in touch with the right people. Finally we were able to schedule the install with the right service men and they did a fantastic job. They went above and beyond in getting it properly installed all the way to the outside venting. I was very impressed/ pleased with their work.

After much consternation, the side vent for the LG dryer was installed. The team that performed the installation were courteous, professional, and proficient. The installation office people that helped me resolve this issue were also great.

Dryer is very good. Love that the front door opens downward and not from side to side. Only dislike is that you have to hold the button for 3 seconds for dryer to start.

Works well so far and quieter than my previous one. I like the towel setting and being able to modify the other preset cycles. I don't like not being able to adjust the signal. The installation from Best Buy was a terrible experience. The dryer allows for a side vent installation which I confirmed with Best Buy, but when it was delivered the geek squad did not bring the duct ordered and could not install the side vent. Two more teams, 4 trips to the store during the pandemic getting the appliances team to do their job, and 4 weeks later they finally got it done.

Few hiccups with the order. It’s important to know Best but sells the installation service for the left vent install, but doesn’t sell the supplies. It would have been nice to know so when the install occurred it could have been completed. However, by the second attempt at the install, after Amazon delivered the parts, the service team made up for my aggravation. The product is fine. Sevice team- both were kind and professional. Best Buy itself, where I have bought all my appliances for several units I own, needs a bit of work. Service is service and should be operationalized from start to finish.

We recently remodeled and needed a reliable 24 inch under the counter wine cooler for our kitchen. After two months, no issues. Holds temp in all corners and can easily hold 40 bottles. Not sure about 51 though. Quiet, solid, and easy to use. The Whirlpool brand was an added bonus. Skoal!

The installers were professional during the install. However, my laundry unit wasn't leveled completely. I called the installer and notified them of this issue but they never came back to fix the issue.

Couldn’t vent through the back. Had to bottom vent and couldn’t get it done right without the kit. Installation went smoothly. Thanks!!

Not much to say about a side vent dryer vent other then Representative selling products on phone and staff in store should have SOME knowledge of products they are selling. When I buy a dryer from you and say IT NEEDS TO BE SIDE VENTED FOR MY SPACE. Know what I am talking about, not just pushing that SALE through. That is on BEST BUY for hiring staff and not training them. Thank heavens the area repair supervisor, Matt Sosa was able to rectify all this for me.

My side dryer install went very well, and the Technicians were very knowledgeable and very nice and professional, thanks for finally sending someone who knew how to install my appliance and can now relax and enjoy all my new appliances!! Thank you

I would rate at 0 stars if I could. I scheduled 4 appointments so far and my dryer side vent installation was never completed. The last 2 appointments were total no shows. The 1 prior the tech said he didnt have the right tools and left. ( A screwdriver is pretty much all thats needed) And the first appointment they sent soneone else's appliance delivery..no technician. What a joke! I will never shop best buy again. I wasted time from work, so did my husband.

Not very many people need bottom venting for their dryer (salesman didn’t even know it was possible). Team came out the day before to survey the room and area. The team was great in modifying the dryer and finalizing the hookup. Took care to ensure no damage was done, everything was hooked up correctly and we knew how to operate the devices.

If you need a side or bottom vent, and/or the extra front-back clearance get the kit and the installation. They’re separate purchases, and seem pricey, but are very much necessary. I was happy with the results.

The Geek Squad was great. We had limited space to work but Sebastian did a terrific job of installing our washer and dryer with the help of Chuck. The Supervisor William went out of his way to secure an additional part that was needed to complete the installation. They went above and beyond to finish the job.
