The GEEK Squad set up my new T.V., my sound bar, my DVD player, and my new blu-ray player. We checked everything out except for the blu-ray player sound; and of course that doesn't work. So I bought a new blu-ray player that I cannot use.

Poor Geek Squad experience

Our Geek Squad person tried to get away with doing the least amount of work possible, was argumentative, dismissive and rude. He arrived solo and said he could install everything himself, then enlisted my wife to help hold the tv while he mounted it. And my wife has had back surgery and should not have been put in that position.

This is frustrating. They charged me a full service fee just to confirm what I had already explained when I called in for service. I purchased a new Sonos amp, and it broke a few months later. When I called Best Buy to inform them, a technician came out and acknowledged that it was indeed broken. However, they then charged me $129 for the service call, despite the fact I had already reported the issue over the phone. I am considering canceling my memberships, as I feel I am not receiving any extra benefits.
