    Chris deserves a 5 star. He was not able to set up a system, which the TV did not support. The TV was not programmed to allow audio through the TV speakers, plus two other outlets, a sound bar and wireless earphones. Either one or the other, but not both. I had already discovered that, but the salesperson wanted to try splitters to see if it would work. Chris and I doubted the setup; we were both right. The TV needs to be replaced.

    Sonos WiFi setup with Onkyo receiver

    The people who make the appointment should have a better knowledge of what best buy products are. Audio WiFi speakers and receivers are all addressed to the geek squad's instead of the magnolia department ( 2 appointments and no one seem to know what going on )

    Left with $1400 worth of non working audio

    Left without getting the Sonos sound bar and sub hooked up. They told me it was the weak Wi-Fi signal so I got a signal booster and doubled my speed and it still isn’t hooked up.

    The Geek Squad agents were great. What was not great is that they took a number of items back to the store that were not needed for installation and the store didn't correctly credit them to my charge account. This made me have to go 35 miles from Rocky Mount to Wilson, NC because you CANNOT speak to people in the stores. POOR customer service.

    Usually I have been very pleased with all the products I have bought from Best Buy. I went in, not having a clue about wall mounts for televisions, since we've never had one before. The clerk told me that it did not pull out or move side to side, but that it did tilt from top to bottom. I did not realize that I would not be able to get my hand behind to plug it in! The contractor installed it, and threw the packaging away, so I couldn't return it. Probably within the year I will have to go buy one that does have more flexibility just to be able to get plugs in and out.

    They were supposed to balance my home theater speaker levels. Asked that they made sure they had a signal level meter with them. The tech didn’t have one so when he left, he said they would come back in a couple of days with the meter. The tech that called before the second visit didn’t have one either…I told him not to come and I asked the Geek Squad for my money back I was refunded the fee for the visit.

    Geek squad installed my Sonos sound bar

    The agents installed my Sonos sound bar but talked me out of putting it where it had been suggested by the in home consultant. After the left I was ready to return the sound bar. (it sounded very weak) I did move it to where it was in a better place and it now fills the room better

    The geeks were very nice but were not able to get the tv to sync with my Harmony remote or headsets for audio output without cancelling the surround sound.

    He was on time and pleasant. The wires behind the TV were left a mess and we find we are unable to get sound when using APPs on the TV. Unfortunately we need them to return and redo some of the installation

    Service tech did not have the cord to check the internet and was going to return following us receiving new amps for our sonos system. This was going to be at no additional charge!

    Didn’t install , giving their own reasons without even trying . Said that my TV had the wrong screws and that that had damaged the area and would not be able to screw them again after installing the speaker holder . Turns out my husband installed it without a problem , same as TV . There was no wrong screws on the TV but the crew didn’t even try taking them out to show what they were saying was true .

    The service from Geek Squad has changed significantly since you all expanded the use of contract services. They come to the job site not knowledgeable of the products...could not connect the TV because a part was missing. A friend connected the TV, the TV was wired incorrectly. I have tried to have an audio system connected 3 times the 'contractor' who came had no work order, did not understand the scope of work and the system still is not working as expected.

    None of actual set up was ever done. No coordination between delivery and geek squad set up. Oringinally told technician would come back when everything was delivered. Can’t stay home for 3 days when everything could have been done in one

    Purchased a denon receiver ( w Ethernet wired connection to router) for streaming services and simply wanted tech to connect it to router but he could not figure out how to do so and now connection is through Wi-Fi only - which continues to encounter connection issues - very disappointed esp since bestbuy selected the receiver snd specifically sold me on the ability to have a wired connection to avoid connection issues

    I am fed up of best buy, they messed up my home theater and not ordering and fixing stuff. I bought everything from them and my equiptments were under warranty still I was asked to buy new I bought it and it was ordered wrongly. 4 appointment and no fix. my home after last visit my home theater stopped working it was working fine before. Really frustrated. Paid for total tech as well.

    None of my existing audio equipment was able to be integrated. Installer claimed I needed another piece of equipment to tie in the sound bar purchased. Independently found out it was not possible
