Francisco and his team did a great job installing my new 48” Forno 8 burner gad cooktop. Took the necessary time to convert from natural gas to LP. Looks great.

I absolutely love this cooktop. It took a moment to arrive and then a few minor hiccups, but it was definitely worth the wait.

Awful doesn’t begin to describe what a complete and total disaster my experience trying to get delivery and get installed my ZLINE cooktop. Could have bought it at same price and as it turns out had it installed for a minimum of $125 less with thousands of dollars less hassle. Instead my first mistake was buying the beat buy appliance center’s claim of better service and promise total tech support could easily be scheduled and would handle entire installation for $49. Reality isn’t even on same planet. Took week and act of God getting me after hours of calling to sales guy in Illinois who scheduled installation, buy told me it would be $245 b/c “complex” installation and that basically this only includes dropping it into prepreped hole and screwing on the gas connection. He also warned i needed to have old cooktop out and space ready to drop in or the installation team LLP”would just leave.” Of course wasn’t delivered on time and hours on phone to bb tech support didn’t find missing shipment OR cancel and reschedule delivery and installation. 6 hours on phone just produced instruction I should “wait” until Best Buy decided to tell me when it felt like delivery. Then installers showed up at original time because not told to reschedule. Then cooktop that arrived 5-6 days late was defective and damaged when delivered abd were informed it could “weeks” before could reschedule installation. Days of run around trying to get defective and damaged cooktop picked up and exchanged. Told that although delivered defective and damaged 48” 140# plus cooktop to house, I’d have to take back to store to get it returned and reordered with a projected month replacement time. Ultimately went to store and found appliance and management team equally unhelpful! Ultimately guy out of Illinois got someone to pick up on 1/15. Hear it’s reordered and projecting delivery at best at end of month. Told can’t reschedule installation until closer. Expecting more disappointment based on consistently awful behavior

The installers arrived on time. They told me what they were going to do. Everything was installed perfectly. They gave instructions. They cleaned up and all was done in just over 30 minutes.

This is not an acceptable installation as far as I’m concerned. There is also a huge gap between customer service for online purchases versus in store. Customer service wasn’t able to assist and advised to call the store. Calling the store meant sitting on hold for hours, if you were actually able to get in the que at all.

Very attractive, solid, works well. It’s a bit too hot, even on the lowest flame height, so that it’s hard to simmer anything. That may have to do with some setting at installation that needs to be adjusted.

The cooktop was installed professionally. Unfortunately, the left upper burner made a continuous clicking noise as if the igniter was continuously trying to ignite even after ignition and turning the burner to low. Am awaiting replacement.

My wife and daughter really love this new cooktop. It works great and is very easy to maintain. The beautiful stainless stell finish and attractive modern design is a great overall enhancement to our kitchen.

They came back after we discovered that even though the cooktop was the same size at 36", the bottom part was larger than the 36 inch model we replaced. The countertop people had to come and cut out the hole to allow for this model to fit! This is NOT the fault of the installers! Who would have guessed that this wouldn't fit? The installers did a great job the second time around too!

install went fast and professional, can not say I was please through the whole process with the Geek Team. There communication tools are very lacking.

Ill begin by saying we purchased a Viking cooktop range from you guys around June of 2021 upon which it arrived in September. Next, we were told that the qualified installers could be sent in next month. So around the end of October of 2021 we finally had the installers come in. When they were finished, the designated third-party installers let us know that two burners were already not working properly. The burners still don’t give full heat or function as they should. However, they assured us that they forward the issues to Best Buy and have them contact us about it. I still havent been contacted about it till this day. As I wasn’t going to wait any longer to resolves the issue, I went in to inquire what could be done at my local Best Buy and they told me to contact Viking directly. Im sure youre seeing a pattern here now. So I go contact Viking, have them send over a technician and upon inspection, he finds out that the root of all our problems is the fact that Best Buy had sent a range that runs on propane rather than natural gas. Upon hearing this, all of it started to make a lot more sense. Naturally, I return to the Best Buy store to inform them of the mistake and told that our warranty expired and there was nothing that could be done. Now before I conclude this little story, I just gotta ask. How do you screw that large and expensive of an order up? How did Beat Buys qualified installers not recognize that they were installing a propane-oriented range to a natural gas system? Why did we get a propane range in the first place?? We’ve gone to Best Buy for our kitchen appliance and tech needs and depute have loved to use our range. But this level of customer dissatisfaction and confusion is certainty absurd. If there is ANY way at all that we could somehow get the correct range, that would be greatly appreciated. Truly.

Cooktop works nicely, I had a kitchen aide before so I’m comparing somewhat to that. So far it’s fast in boiling water and I feel like the intensity of the cook is a bit higher than my previous kitchenaide. Not sure if I like that as I’ve burned a few things.

The range top looked very nice once install was completed except for small gaps along side between the range top and the cabinet. The cabinet guys who cut the cabinet to specs did not do precision cuts so minor gaps can be seen between the front of rangetop and cabinet. Will cover with wood filler but would be better to have couple of guys working together and cutting cabinet during install rather than perform precut without range top available to see.

First of all, the guy doing the installation had his work cut out for him. The hole in our countertop wasn’t big enough, so he had to cut some tile. Good news is that he got it done. Bad news is that there was dust Everywhere in the kitchen afterwards... Also seems that any cooking tools which were supposed to come with the unit were not left here by the installer. That kind of hurts The cooktop itself is very good.

he professional installers came to our home on scheduled date and time. This team installed our microwave, double oven and cooktop stove. They were knowledgeable, efficient, fast and left no signs of work. They showed us how to use each one of our appliances. We will request them to install our next appliance purchase.

Good gas cooktop. Wish there was more burner room, as this is limited due to downdraft.

Installation was simple after long wait for delivery.
