Let me start by saying that the game is good. It's a throwback to the N64 days and was designed to be easy to pick up and play. My main issues are due to the fact I'm a huge wrestling fan... or according to Kazarian, "Average at best". (Joke about my size) My first gripe is the legnth of the entrances. They're a big part of the theatrics of wrestling and it just leaves you wanting more. The entrances are only about 5 seconds long. You hear the intro of the music and the wrestlers walk out and do a taunt. It would've been nice to have the full entrances with the OPTION for short ones. This bummed me out. The second important thing for me is the creation suite. I like to have a stacked roster with wrestlers from NJPW, ROH, Noah and yes... even WWE. The creation suite flat out sucks. It gives you like 8 faces to choose from and you can't tinker with them. Everything is so minimal that you can't make a wrestler that even SLIGHTLY resembles them. It basically looks like a 20 something year old that made a budget cosplay with items from Wish. You can't even put designs on the attires. Just plain colored trunks, pants or shorts. Once you create your best attempt at Great Muta who would get a 2/10 review on Caws.ws, you get to add moves and entrance. This is also not fun. You get to scroll through hundreds of moves with no search or fast scroll feature... that's right. One by one. Once you've finished this after an hour, you can take your pick of about 100 non licensed music tracks. You can't pick several themes such as Jericho's or Punk's (even though they're in the game) and don't even THINK about custom OST. It doesn't matter anyway because of the 5 seconds of the song you hear. While I'm talking about creation suite, we were also told that we could edit current wrestlers in the game! Now if you're thinking like me, you're about to add SEVERAL attires to every wrestler. STOP! You can only give them a solid color t-shirt or an AEW t-shirt. THAT'S IT! If you get passed these couple of things, the game is a solid arcade like wrestling game for the classic wrestling game fan. I would actually recommend.

It's fun to play, but nothing too complex. They made it have a old school feel just the old Nintendo 64 games, which is a good thing!

Fun game, not as complex as the wwe games. They've added live footage which is fun as well. Overall I find myself enjoying this game without any hangups.

Much more entertaining then I thought it would be and at a very great price too. I have to say what also made it much more enjoyable was the easier controls for gameplay where you don't need to learn a hundred button combos to perform a special move for your character. The roster is also pretty impressive overall a fun and entertaining wrestling game for gamers to enjoy.

This game suffers from what a lot of other first game titles to. Being the first game. It’s fun in its fundamentals and at its core, but it lacks content. The Switch port specifically is the worst looking but it’s very playable. Especially if you just want a wrestling game on the go and don’t have a steam deck. Definitely recommend on sale or for huge wrestling fans. The sequel will be better without a doubt

There a very few options for pro wrestling games for the Switch. This game is pleasantly fun and quick to learn. It is not like the WWE 2K series, but more like the old-school games from THQ with newer graphics. The opening roster is good and varied, but if they continue providing updates to this game through wrestler additions and/or character creation modes, this game can have staying power.

Pros: Decent size roster, Stadium Stampede mode is sheer madness, and the game is very easy to pick and play. Cons: Bugs, lack of robust Create a Wrestler options, and sometimes downright ugly graphics no matter the platform (although the Switch version is hideous).

I purchased this game first on PS5, then I wanted it for Switch so I could play it on the go.
In general it’s a great game, which is why I own it for 2 different consoles.
Genuinely it’s the exact same game BUT..the graphics, glitches & load times are very very noticeable comparing it to PS5 which runs the game flawlessly & insanely fast.
It’s a great game & in the switch versions while there is glitches in pretty much every other match I don’t find it unplayable.
The load times are what bother me the most, where obviously it can’t be compared to the speed on PS5, if you’re coming from a newer game console or PC you’re going to notice a difference overall.
I still highly recommend the game.

Very fun game, wish they added cage marches and back stage areas. Def feels like a throw back to N64 days.. just lacks content. Hoping they make a golden cart woth all DLC offline

Graphically this game is not impressive at all but that is not what this game is about. It’s about fun! It takes you back to the days of the N64 wrestling game era. It’s great to play with friends and online. Single player mode is also good. There are a good amount of things I wish could be worked out or updated but hopefully they will address those issues in the next release. Although, I can see this game living on for a while with DLC and updates. If you are looking to compare this game with the WWE2K series, don’t bother. This game is in a different category that focuses on easier gameplay, silliness and overall fun.

Ive had this game on switch since release and its never disappointed. If i were to criticize anything, it would be the prices for some dlc. Other than that the game delivers an awesome arcade wrestling experience. Creating fun spots with friends is so fun and adds to replay ability. I will continue to play this game throughout its entire lifespan!

This game is great, needs more modes.
I believe i read they will be adding more wrestlers and modes.
They are adding stadium stampede, 30 wrestlers fighting at a football stadium, kinda like a fortnight thing going on with weapons, cars, i never played fortnight but this mode looks fun.
The game is easy to learn, just keep in mind it's an arcade game, easy pick up and play, not simulation like wwe.
Enjoy and have fun!! Have a great day!!

Love this game, it's a throwback to my fav era of wrestling games, the N64 with Revenge/No Mercy. I used to really love watching AEW, but lost interest in the past year. Still, being able to play as Orange Cassidy and Cody Rhodes is cool, as well as making some new created wrestlers, too.
