After Earth on BluRay is a fun family friendly movie. Very good Father - son dynamic and highly underrated by critics. Great Bestbuy price for both BluRay and DVD options available with this purchase.

I was kind of hesitant about buying this but luckily was surprised, in a way it reminds me of John Carter that it seems like its just another wierd sci fy movie but actually pretty good when you watch it

The chemistry between Will Smith and his son makes this movie a must watch for the whole family! The special effects are very good and the twist at the end even better!

I had to say my family wasn't that big of a fan of the movie but I was. they thought it was ok. I thought the action was good and so was the graphics. Will Smith son was great, getting good like his dad.

Wasn't the greatest of SciFi stories, but wasn't the worst either. Will Smith's performance was a bit stiff, but I couldn't tell if that was the character he was trying to portray or if he was just bored.

This movie actually exceeded my expectations. I loved the CGI and cinematography. Jaden my not be his dad as an actor, but I feel he did a great job exuding what fear is.. Another favorite! :-)

This movie is a good one. Will Smith and his son are great together! I felt it was slow at times, but overall a great plot. The blu-ray has great definition, worth the extra money for sure!

It's a not bad movie. The new young actor, Will Smith's son, is getting much better. The ending is happy ending, I think it should be a bit more dramatic and open for possible a sequence.

Even without a major plot twist this is a great movie. Unfortunately it got passed up by many in theaters due to the passing animosity they had for Will and/or Jaden Smith at the time.

Watched a few times and keep going back again... At first I thought it was a waste of money but it grew on me... There are some parts that will's performance was overdone and his son's was ok. Plot is good and fx too!!! I love will smith so I may be kinda biased... I'm still on the fence with his mini me. I'm glad this was a gift and movie ended up being better the more I watched and understood. The final fight scene was unexpected but may be why I changed my appreciation of the movie.

Good example how a relation between a father and son can go from missing to a great one. Also good to show people that when you need and want to do something you can do it!

it's nice to watch a movie with Will Smith, although it could deliver more. Ending a bit obvious. Still you can enjoy with family ensuring to check the rate for the audience.

There are always movies that I've bought on Bluray/DVD that I tend to put into a category after I've watched them called "Theater Worthy". It just means that the movie was probably one that I was going to see in theaters when it first came out but unfortunately I wasn't able to. I put them in this category just to say that I wish I had seen it in theaters now! & that is exactly where this movie falls in my opinion.

Will Smith and his son play parts that are different then what is normally expected, but enjoyable. Theme of movie keeps you watching to see what happens next.

Very good movie, action drama suspended, it lacks more dialogue is a movie with very few actors, only father and son practically, good effects.

I wish I would have seen this prior to purchasing it. The movie was ok, but I would have waited till it came out at a much lower price. Like a few years later.

My husband really liked this movie. I enjoyed it as well, though I thought it had a few slow parts. Overall, though, I would definitely watch it again.

Overall the movie was very predictable and only should receive an average rating. But the line about fear verses danger is why I gave this another star.

Father-son team survive together. Acting was ok, but certainly not one of Will Smith's better movies. I guess it was to try and show case his son.

Interesting to watch, but leaves you wondering if they could of produced the movie a little better. Watch the movie when you have nothing else to do.
