First 24 hour impressions

I haven't had these headphones for a full 24 hours yet, but I am choosing to write up this review because I am already impressed with these headphones. I originally purchased these headphones for two reasons... one was so I could have my late-night gaming sessions without disturbing my 2 year old daughter sleeping in the adjacent room. The other reason was because I wanted to feel more immersed in my games.
When I took them out of the box, the first thing I noticed was how beefy they were, weight-wise. I've never had a set of headphones, wired or wireless, that have weighed so much so it worried me a little at first. That concern was assuaged pretty quickly after I put the headset on and felt the comfortable cushioning that kept the headset from feeling heavy on my head.
I powered it on and it connected immediately to the USB dongle and after muting my TV I was ready to give these a shot. I opened up PUBG and started up a game. The audio sounded great... I could hear the direction of things far more clearly than just relying on my TV's built-in speakers. This had me immediately satisfied with my purchase. I love these headphones!
The LED lights are a nice touch, but I find them to be completely superfluous, since when you're wearing the headphones you can't even see them. It's cool that the LED colors can be changed... but what is better than that is the ability to turn the LED's off completely.
The cushions are supremely comfortable... though they do seem to trap heat after extended use. I find that just lifting them off for a moment and putting them back on is an easy solution to what is a pretty minor issue.
Sound quality & comfort aside... There is one feature that absolutely had me sold on these headphones when I found out about it. I was tossed up between two sets of headphones and was leaning more towards the wireless one. One of the biggest concerns I had was that if the headphones ran out of juice, I would have to stop whatever I was doing and wait for them to charge. I had one set of wireless headphones in the past where that was the case. Even if I was in the middle of a game, if the headphones died... I was out of luck. I had to wait for them to charge because they would not power on while the USB charging cable was plugged in. There were no notes on this on the box, so I took a gamble and bought the headphones anyway. I was incredibly happy to find that these headphones allow you to charge them even while you are using them. Once I found that out, I was 100% happy with this purchase!
TL:DR Version:
Pros: comfortable headset, great sound quality, removable mic, can charge while using, ability to turn off LEDs if desired
Cons: trapped heat can heat up your ears with extended use, can't use with PS4
One thing I would make note of... I noticed another reviewer complaining that the base part of the mic broke off when they were adjusting it. When I adjust the mic... I actually unplug it first. The mic is held in by a small jack and a small bit of black plastic. It is not sturdy by any definition of the word... so i'd recommend if you need to adjust the mic... DO NOT try to bend it while it is plugged in. I'm fairly certain it was not designed to be adjusted while plugged in.

I bought this headset after my stepson broke the headset that came with my xbox one. I should have bought this much sooner. Sound is great, being wireless is great, and they are definitely comfortable. I have two con's though: 1) Takes up a USB slot (I have a cooling fan, External HD, an infinity portal and now the headset, so I have to plug and unlug) 2) It seems to lock onto one account (so if you log in player 1, the headset assigns to it, before player two can use it, player 1 has to log off) Both minor annoyances.

Good gaming headset - Xbox One

This is a good stereo gaming headset for Xbox One, but not intended for adult sized male ears. The headphones do not cover my ears well and either the top of my ears or the bottom of my ears (depending on how I have it adjusted) start to hurt after about an hour of use. The cups are too small. I have normal sized ears, but would probably work well for a kid or teen.
The sound is good, wish the volume control had a better range. Seems to either be high or low with minimal adjustment in between.
Microphone is good and it is nice that it is adjustable. I have used this on my PC with the included 3.5mm detachable jack (not needed for the Xbox One).
Although this is a nice set and I really like the true wireless for Xbox One, I will most likely pass this down to my 11 yo since the ear cups are too small for an adult male. I guess I will go back to my Astro A40's since they are more comfortable, but wired.

I've been using this headset for a couple weeks. I love having truly wireless headset for under $100. Just plug the USB receiver into the Xbox One and it syncs up when you turn on the console and headset. So far the only way these could be better if it was surround sound instead of stereo but I can't complain since they were so affordable.

So, the headset is great because it's wireless. It's obnixious in color, which is pretty cool. The internal circutry is a neat look. The physical quality on the button isn't very solid, as it creaks and moves around a bit much.
The most frustrating thing is the volume knobs are not consistent. Maybe it's just my model. There are two knobs--one for Game, one for Chat. You would think each would modify their respective thing, but that's not the case. And sometimes they won't even do anything and I have to restart the headset to get the knobs to work. And when I do that, the wireless connection is sometimes lost, so I have to reconnect everything. Really inconvenient.
Battery life is solid. Aside from the connectivity and strange volume knob issues, the thing is nice.

Got them as a present from my husband. I love the sound on them and the fact that you can take the microphone off is a big plus for me. I am not much for chatting when playing a game. The only thing I don't care for is the on and off botton but I can live with that. They are soft and all in all great wireless headset for the price. Got mine when they where on sell for 79 bucks. Good deal. Would recommend.

First it's a wireless headset. when comparing to the other brands I believe this is the cheapest headset that offers wireless. Second I compared these to the turtle beaches at a Bestbuy testing display and it sounded better then both of the turtle beaches that were within the same price range so I took a shot at A9. However after about a year and some change, my headset did die on me. So I did have to contact Afterglow/Pdp and they did send me a replacement less then two weeks. That's why I'm giving it a 4 not a 5

The sound is great, comfortable, and wireless is awesome.
But, the mic part is too fragile; hardly got it out of the box and the mic broke.

This are awesome, and they are fully wireless no need for chat adapter or cables, just a UsB stick on your console and your set, they sound pretty good and are also comfortable. If you are on a budget and have to have 100% wireless this is it!

Headset is truly wireless with good battery life, and sounds clear to my team mates. The sound is good but seems to crackle at times(not sure if this is a connectivity or hardware issue but it is tolerable). The surround sound seems to be a bit off. In game sounds don’t sound like they are happening in the correct place relative to the character position at times. Other than that a very good product considering similar product price points.

I really like this headset. Sound is good and you can turn the lights off if you so desire. Bass boost is meh. My only complaint is that every 3rd or 4th time I start playing a game on my XBOX One, the sound reverses and what I should be hearing in my right ear, is on the left and vice versa. So I have to unplug the usb and plug it back in. Other than that these truly wireless headphones are a great buy at $99.

It's a good overall headset, but the instructions were really bad of some of the functions it had and how to switch in between functions. I had an issue of how to change from just gameplay audio back to party chat and the instructions didn't say how to or even mention it. I went online and couldn't find the answer either so I had to push different buttons to figure out the functions myself. Once I figured out the functions the headset is really good. I play rainbow six and COD and am always in a party chat and both game play and party chat is extremely clear and detailed. Would recommend product just wish it had more detailed instructions.

This is my first headset for a console ever and I quite like it. The battery backup is more than 13-14 hrs and does not take much time charging back up. The sound is good for a first timer with the surround effect in games and streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc). Haven't used the mic a whole lot as I play very less online/multi-player games. But the mic sticks into the left ear piece and does not have a firm attached feeling, always get a feeling that its going to drop any moment. Apart from that I am happy

First off I was skeptical why I would want a head set. After using this one it was clear why I would ! Set up was so simple ! Plug in the signal reciever/sender that looks like a data stick and turn it on.
With separate volume controls for the game play and the chat play you can set it up to be perfect for you.
Bass boosting mode is also awesome and it sounds like you have a amazing surround sound system.

My first venture into the stereo headset world for gaming, and I am more than happy with this purchase...enhances gameplay drastically, the wireless range seems to be good and the sound quality is just amazing. I have also used these to watch shows on Netflix from my cell phone, the battery life is excellent as well. Again, couldn't be happier, and having all the sound come through the headset as opposed to the TV makes the wife happy as well. Win/win, would definitely recommend at the price point.

Super comfortable. They look heavy but are extremely light for long periods of use. Great sound quality. Great battery life. Easy to use. Only complaint I have is that on random occasions It would disconnect. It might have been then game or Xbox. Who knows. But overall this is the best headset under $100.
