Amazing sound playing thru my bone.

I was skeptical of ear phones that were advertised as playing thru the bone in front of your ear. If they worked they seemed like they would be perfect to use for my summer walks. Of course I tried them out immediately, and they worked perfectly.

Great pair of Headphones for Office/Work use.

I must say that I like these headphones! The bone conduction technology is solid and allows me to wear them in my office while still hearing people trying to talk to me and other surrounding sounds. No more sneaking up on me! The unit I am testing does not have a mic or volume controls. I miss that feature immediately. Using the headphones with my iPhone and having to grab my phone to skip songs is kind of annoying.
I've tried running with these but the wires do get in my way. They have a small charging box near the phone that I think they could have given a bit more length to to allow me to tuck it away more properly with my phone in my holder. On the subject of holders, they do provide a very nice water resistant bag to keep the headphones in. It's a just a TAD short to hold my iPhone 6S+ though. Another inch and I would have been able to store everything in there which would have been awesome and negated the short wire to the control box. Battery life seems fine for this type of thing but I do wish that they were completely wireless. If I have to charge something every so often, I would rather it be for wireless connectivity.
The sound is great though. I pretty much stream Pandora all day long and the sound quality through these headphones is more than fine. Plus the ability to hear things in my surrounding give the effect of background music. I love it. I can see myself wearing these all day in the office and still being present and aware of everything while enjoying my own personal music. That is the real benefit of the bone conductive technology. The OpenFit design is perfect for people who want to enjoy their music but still be present and aware with their surroundings.

Overall a nice quality product. I like that it is all black and that it does not go into my ear so it cannot fall out while I am running. However the battery pack is a little heavy and even with the clipped pulls on my shorts. Also seems to need to have the volume on my phone very loud. Seems to increase in volume when I put my fingers in my ears which is kind of funny. Overall, too quite for me and I had a hard time making sure I was indeed using it correctly.
The charging piece is hidden underneath a flap which is hard to open up but I imagine we'll be easier over time. This is really good for running but not really for everyday use. The instructions are easy to follow and very simple to use. That is why I give this product 3 out of 5 stars because it is good for its use but not good in everyday applications.

These are the second pair of Aftershock headphones I purchased. The first were Bluetooth and they worked so well that bought these bone conduction headphones to use with my IPod Nano that does not have Bluetooth technology. I cannot use normal ear buds or over the ear headphones due to hearing loss caused by exposure to loud noises. These bone conduction headphones solved my problem and the sound quality is good. The battery pack is a bit large and cumbersome but I'm willing to accept this drawback to have music play while I work out.

I work in a clean room and this is great. At loud volumes, it can be heard by people near me.
I should have bought the one with audio volume control buttons however.
I imagine it would be good for factory work, forklift, biking and doing laundry while baby is sleeping.

I wear mine everyday at work, I can hear my music plus everything going on around me. They where a little hard to get use to at first, but now that I've had them awhile they are great. I chose the wired over Bluetooth because it drains my battery so fast .

These headphones provide a reasonably good quality sound, however our use them mainly for listening to the news at the YMCA. The only issue I have with these is that I would like to tension to be a little bit tighter so they don’t feel like you’re slipping off my ears. The tension is not adjustable.

I needed a pair of headphones for live music performance that allowed me to hear the ambient environment as well. Good choice here. You can adjust the mix of headphone and ambient nicely. Negative is that they're hard to adjust and get situated properly. If they're not sitting just right, the sound quality can be very lacking. I play guitar and it sounds very tinny when not seated properly. Our vocalist loves using them for the same reason. You can get a lot of volume out of these. Do not use wireless models for live music performance however. There will be too much latency delay.

Love these to avoid the ear ringing I get from a traditional ear bud but there is no way to adjust the size around my head. Other than that I love them

I got these to try and help my son whom has a 90% hearing loss in his left ear be able to hear in stereo for the first time and it worked he lit up instantly and had the weirdest look on his face. It was amazing to witness and see his reaction.

My old one died, so I bought this one to replace it. But, it has some problems. 1. the mini jack is angled at 90 degrees and doesn't stay in because of the case on my ipod. 2. no volume control, and ipods do not put all the music out at the same level.3. the control box is 2 inches from the mini jack, which puts it in my pocket and contributes to the plug coming out. Don't buy it.

Been using these head phones for little less than a week and they have become essential to my work day. These lightweight and extremely comfortable headphones come in a very elegant box that comes with a charging cable, a nifty bag to store them in, and an easy to understand manual. They came fully charged which gave me right at 12 hours of continuous use. The headphones sit very comfortably around the ear with the 'speaker' just out side the ear canal, using them on a 8 hour shift at work was no issue and had zero discomfort that most would associate with standard headphones. Possibly one of the best features is also potentially their greatest downfall; you can hear everything going on around you. In a work environment I can easily hear and communicate with others around me all while listening to music or my favorite podcasts. With that said, if you are looking to drown out the world around you these are not the headphones for you. Though using them in low noise environments such as a quiet house/car etc allows you to magically hear a very good range of frequencies from the highs down to the bass. In some cases with heavy bass music I have noticed that you will actually feel it from the speaker more than you do actually hear it. The charging port uses a standard mini USB so most phone chargers will do the trick, and doesn't take long to charge at all.
Recap
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Comfortable
- Hear the world around you
- Good frequency range
- 12 hours of continuous use before another charge
Cons:
- Low volume in loud environments
- You can hear the world around you
- The fact you have to charge these headphones
- No inline microphone or music controls
- Hard to hear very heavy bass
- Despite the low volume, they produce a lot of ambient noise that others directly around you can hear
All in all these are fantastic to use at work or on a jog if you wish to be able to still be connected to the world and listen to music at the same time and look forward to seeing where this company goes from here!

I have minor hearing loss for low sounds and in my work as a medical transcriptionist it is imperative for me to hear what the doctor dictators are saying clearly. These definitely help.
