I picked this up the week it came out and fortunately for me, if you purchased any other tv series, you got a % off, I believe it was 15%. As far as the content, it was amazing. I'm still going through it, but liking the extras so far. I'd totally recommend this as it had some growing pains for the series, but I have strong feelings for season 2.

The series starts off basic enough picking up after the events of the Avengers film. While interesting, it's very vanilla to start. Then, halfway through season one it elevates its game to another level. The intrigue and excitement grows and builds to a remarkable twist and finale. Honestly, by seasons end this was my favorite show on network TV.

The show picks up after the events from Captain America: Winter Soldier. People were very disappointed that we did not get super powered people right away and were bashing the show. The show is about the Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D., normal every day people who are dealing with arrival and aftermath of the arrival of the heroes and their villains.

While I'm not a hardcore comics fan, I do enjoy most of the comic based movies, particularly those released by Marvel Studios... as it turns out, they do a pretty good job with television as well. Agents Of SHIELD gives us a look at Agent Coulson and his crew going around and dealing with a variety of unusual people and items.

Agents of Shield fills in some gaps left behind after Iron Man 3 and the Avengers. Number 1 being why Coulson is there in the first place. This subplot was very interesting and affects almost everything else in the season. I like how it incorporates aspects of Thor 2 and Captain America 2 into the story. Character development is good. Set design is remarkable considering this is made for tv and not cinema like the other marvel movies. Highly recommended!

This show is good...it could be better and has been getting better since Captain America 2 came and shook it all up...I just wish they had more comic book characters pop up and the ones they have used haven't really gotten to shine too much...Deathlok needs to look a lil more like the Deathlok in the comics...they are headed in the right direction tho...cant wait for season 2...I do recommend this show as a companion to the Marvel Cinematic Universe...

If you like the Marvel Super Hero's then you will love the characters behind the Hero's. Agents of Shield is packed with action, guest Cameo's and is the pure blood line that all of the Super Hero movies are spawned from. Agent's of Shield bridges the gaps between movies and also puts a wrap to them as the story's run side by side with the movie releases given you a new perspective of what the team behind the super team do.

The premiere started strong but as the season progress the show started to slow down considerably. Needless to say, that is because the show is connected to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and was waiting for Captain America 2 to release. Since then, the show has picked up again and has started season 2 strong.

Show That Starts Slow But Has Potential At The End

First season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. does have several flaws in the beginning, but picks up and finds its identity at the end of the season. Tying into the Marvel Cinematic Universe has both advantages and disadvantages. One of the flaws of the show is that it has to follow the movies and could not find its own identity until Captain America Winter Soldier. After that movie the show picked up and become something special.

Watching this show more than one time through has shown me a lot. It reminds me of the show Firefly. The way they're mostly on an airplane, and how team members somehow become in peril almost I'm every episode. Plus, all the cliff hangers. Makes you put yourself in the edge of your seat. Can't wait for season 2!

I'll admit this season hade a few hiccups in the beginning, but by the end it really found it's groove. The Winter Soldier crossover was epic! Fans of Marvel Comics will enjoy the many Easter Eggs and references. Personal highlights: The Winter Soldier crossover, Deathlok(!), Sif's guest appearance (and fight scenes), Bill Paxton, the MCU in-jokes and virtually every scene with Agent Coulson. Looking forward to Season 2!

I absolutely loved the first season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D! It perfectly coincides with everything that occurs in the Marvel movies (i.e. The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier). Plus we finally get to see what happens inside S.H.I.E.L.D once the Avengers take their leave. Love It!!

Starts out kinda slow, but picks up about the forth or fifth episode...then just hang on. Nice tie in with Thor:The Dark world and Captain America:The Winter Soldier. I'm watching them over again and adding the movies where they belong. Just wish the series could've been 3D as well, but my tv does a decent job of converting 2D to 3D,so it's not so bad. All in all a good series that just needed some time to warm up!

Waited for the price to drop on this because I'm poor, but worth every penny even if you have to pay full price. The story gets better in the second half of the season, and you will want to buy the subsequent seasons. Love how the show intertwines with the marvel movies starting with Avengers.

This is such an awesome show! It does a great job of showing the smaller stories in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but having things link in in fun ways! Lots of fun references for the comic fans, and great stories for anyone, even if you don't know any of the characters. Can't wait for season 2!

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is an awesome show pretty slow half of the time but it picks up around the second half of the season and I do love all the tie - ins with the rest of the Marvel movie universe. The blu ray has an amazing feature which has you sign in as a S.H.I.E.L.D agent and it remembers all that you (or others that signed in as agent's) do and watch through the whole season.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is an excellent addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Starts out a little slow for character development but really finds its footing in the second half of the season and ends with a bang! Highly recommended for fans of Avengers and Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The show ties in really well with several of the marvel universe movie's (Thor: the Dark World and Captain America: the Winter Soldier). While the first few episodes are a bit slow, by mid season and through the end it really keeps you interested. Fun to watch! Eager to see where the show will go in season 2.

If you enjoyed the Avengers and Buffy the Vampire Slayer then you will like Agents of Shield. For those that don't like Joss Whedon's style of humor and action then it is unlikely you will be able to get into the series.

A lot was expected of this show. It started off well, fell a bit, and picked back up towards the end. A great way to see your favorite, more obscure Marvel characters, but just as long as they're not mutants. Game changer towards the end of the season from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. If you're a fan of Whedon, you'll be pleased as well. You can tell it's one of his shows.
