If you are looking for BAM BAM BAM major super heroes this isn't for you. But if you are looking for an amazing series at the organization behind the huge superheroes this is perfect. It starts out slow, but it quickly picks up. If at first you are bored, give it a chance.

Slow moving through much of the season, but really picks up at about episode 16. At this point, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" came out, and the events on the show could proceed. Episodes 17 and on continue with the threads from the movie. It's not a bad series, but considering how great Marvel's cinematic universe is, I'd expect more. Not a bad set when it's on sale.

I hated that Agent Coulson died in The Avengers, so I was thrilled to see him alive again in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I thought he might have been a robot for awhile! This is a fun series to watch, the characters are good and the story lines are interesting. Bring on Season 2.

This review is less about the show and more about the box set. Season one of Agents of Shield comes in a very nice blu ray clamshell case with each disk on their own holder. The insert is well printed and the slip cover is very well done. I am so happy to have this box set.

This series started off decently, but started to become less inspired, up until halfway through where it suddenly kicked into high gear to become must-see appointment viewing. The extra features in this collection aren't overly impressive, but it's nice to have something. I recommend this to anyone that's a fan of either Joss Whedon or the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a fantastic TV show that offers a look into the marvel cinematic universe, while being affected by other films such as Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Great Acting, Great Storyline, and Great Tie-In

This show was great from the beginning to the end.If you like comic book movies,this show should be in your collection.If you are following the Marvel's Avengers this is a continuation of the movie,and it coincides with Captain America The Winter Solider.

For the show itself, it's as solid as the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movies. The special features are fun, too, although interviews with the actors and perhaps even a roundtable would've elevated it further. My one complaint is that there is no Digital Copy included with this unlike most releases these days (perhaps it's a Disney thing).

It starts off a little slow, but quickly picks up steam after a few episodes. These Shield side characters quickly grow on you and you find yourself at the edge of your seat as you approach the thrilling finale. Really looking forward to season 2!

Great series, a true Marvel production. Wonderful cast, writers and every other element it takes to make a quality show. They do a fantastic job staying true to the Marvel Universe and tie things together with storylines from movies and comics.

Bought this as a gift for someone and he is really enjoying it. The bluray quality is exceptional with crisp lines and great color. A definite must for any Marvel fan...season 2 is also available, so pick up a copy of both today!

Marvel's Agents of Shield is a fun show for everyone who loves marvel. This season the story overlap with 2 marvel films, Thor : The Dark World and Captain America Winter Soldier. This blu-ray set makes it easier to see the show chronologically.

this a series inspired by and taking place right after the Avengers movie of 2013, it is a great Super Heroes / Spy group of people and adventures. real fun. and now i can't wait for Avengers 2 even more than i already couldn't wait for it.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ties in flawlessly with the Marvel movies. Joss Whedon does an excellent job of creating a cast of characters you enjoy watching. I'm loving seeing more and more minor Marvel characters showing up on the small screen.

It's kind of slow from the get go, but a few episodes in and I was hooked. If you're a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe I recommend this. It fills in many gaps between the films. I wish the packaging wasn't so bland, but oh well.

I didn't watch this show when it aired - I saw the first two or three episodes then lost interest. But I heard that it got much better later in the season, so I decided to check it out when it came out on DVD. I have to agree that it got much better I the second half of the season. Now, I am watching the second season as it airs.

This TV series is a must for any fan of Marvel and the Marvel Series of movies. It not only revives Agent Coulson but also ties in with Captain America. The series starts out well and evolves and becomes more intriguing as it continues.

I know this got mixed reviews when season 1 was on, but I didn't watch any of it when it originally aired. I think it works well to binge watch. I did enjoy it and it tied into everything Marvel has been doing with the movies. I am eager to see season 2 and look forward to more from this unique show.

Pretty good companion show for fans of the Marvel movie universe. This show spins-off from the Avengers movie is affected by Thor:Dark World and leads right into Captain America: Winter Soldier and continues the story after. A few good cameos and introductions to new Marvel characters not seen in the movies.
