Had this shipped to me and BB used a mailer envelope. Steel looked good until I took off the shrinkwrap and saw a massive dent under the J Card. Thankfully the Best Buy in Bangor did me a huge solid by allowing me to swap it out for one in mint condition. So...thank you Bangor! You guys rock.

For those tired of the awful, modern parody movies you see like "Disaster Movie," watch "Airplane!", but if you've already seen it, re watch it. Not only does this film parody disaster movies, it has tons of memorable one-liners, puns, timing, deadpan delivery, slapstick, and just has many different comedy styles! There are jokes aplenty in this comedy!

Anyone who's seen this movie knows how funny it is. ZAZ, who also directed The Naked Gun, Top Secret and other, filled this movie to the brim with just about every laugh possible. If you've never seen it, what have you been thinking?! Generally, even the Blu ray, is such a good price that you OWE it to yourself to pick this movie up. What are you waiting for?!

Still considered one of the funniest movies of all time, Airplane! is a must have. This blu-ray was derived from a new 4K scan, and while not a 4K disc, look as good as it can be. It wasn't high art with great cinematography, it was all about the laughs.

Old favorite of mine, had the item on sale while I was getting the run-around on a Christmas 'deal' on a cell phone. Never did get the same answer twice from the 7 (seven) different people I spoke to about the phone. I'd recommend the video but not the sales staff or online, telephone support people. Script readers with no clue or inkling to assist.

One of the greatest comedy films of all time, with timeless jokes (even if some are in slightly poor taste by today's standards). The steel is bright, fun, and quirky, just like the wonderful movie it contains. One of the best versions of this classic!

This is an all-time classic comedy. Leslie Nielsen and company are as funny today as they were 40 years ago. Some of the jokes may not have aged well in these PC days but anyone with a reasonable sense of humor will not be offended.

A classic comedy with a new 4K scan. The picture and audio was very strong on my UHD TV. The only minor issue is the lack of some earlier bonus features that were not carried over so I had to keep the older disc I had meant to replace.

Love old comedy movies. This one is a classic in my book. Yes it is dated and corny by today's standards. Still get a few chuckles out of watching it now and then. I guess I picked a bad time to write a review.

Overall, this is one of the oldest (hence first) slapstick movies that are stupid funny and have a great word play. Some of the classic jokes originated in this movie. You got cameos and a career restart for Leslie Nielsen. If you like stupid comedy and haven't seen this one, go pick it up for $5. You will not be disappointed.

Great picture. I own multiple copies of this movie on DVD, Bluray, special editions, but this version has the sharpest and cleanest picture of them all. One of the all time funniest and most quoted movies ever!

This is a parody movie of all the airline disaster movies of the 70s. It is hilarious and filled with tons of gags and side jokes. S huge ensemble cast and lots of surprise cameos.

After "Young Frankenstein," quite possibly the most quoted comedy. This is a masterpiece of funny. The jokes come at a rapid pace. You can watch this film 100 times and still laugh out loud at every joke. Too bad thee filmmakers stopped making movies together.

If you love humor then this is the perfect movie for you. You will find a couple of corny scenes from this 1980 film but for the most part this is funny and entertaining. What's not to like with actors such as Leslie Nielsen, Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves and Robert Stack. A must have for DVD collectors.

I'd actually never seen this until recently, and it's amazing what a PG movie could get away with in 1980. Not a knock on it by any means, but you can certainly tell this classic is a product of its time.

I saw this on Netflix and I had a laugh with how this got green lit its a good movie think of those parody movies but this one is easily the king of those parody’s and will make you laugh your socks off

The film itself is a 5 out of 5, and as an avid steelbook collector, there is no better way to own this film! The only issue, though, that stops this from being a 5 out of 5 review is the fact this is blu ray only and has no 4K disc included. To be honest, nowadays, anything not including a 4K disc is one I cannot ever give a full five out of five to. Nevertheless, this is a must own film in a must own steelbook!

A clever, funny parody of 1970 disaster movies with so many jokes packed into each and every scene. The visual and sound effects are even gags. A model plane is used that is so fake it's hilarious and a prop plane sound effect is used even though the plane is obviously a jet. Blu-ray widescreen 1.85:1 aspect ratio, overall sound and picture quality good with some dirt and debris visible, special features included.

For good or for bad, they just don't make movies like this anymore. It's campy, it's dated, it's cheap laughs...but it's a comedy classic that still plenty fun from start to finish. I really enjoyed watching this again after so so many years.
