    Though predictable, this is an effective, informative, heartwarming tale. Not to mention, how well casted the film is.

    I really like this movie is nice... but too wordy. I look at how hard Akkelah studies and W-O-W! She really wants to win the Bee! I am not a real good speller, so this movie was just.. a movie. For all you spellers out there, if you want to be in the Spelling Bee one day in your life, then see if you can spell the words in the movie! If yes, you are ready!

    Angela and Lawerence are at it again, playing opposite of each ohter in this beautifully scripted movie about Inner-city youth with the knack of spelling words. A great family movie

    It shows that you can achieve something if you believe in yourself. But the movie itself was pretty slow.
