even better music than the original movie

A very well put together piece of music. We saw the play on Broadway on a spur of the moment day trip. The show exceeded our expectations by 10! The music was great, the script was hilarious, and the production was jaw-dropping!
We just had to run out and buy the cd from best buy. (The cd at the show was a lot more expensive).
The cd contains the song "Proud of Your Boy" which was written for the original animated version of Aladdin, but later mysteriously dropped. What an unexpected treasure! The song may well be the best in the whole show!

Disney does an incredible job translating Aladdin from the movie to the stage. The songs such as "Friend Like Me" will get you dancing in your seat! "Proud of Your Boy" is poignant and touching. With new characters and songs, this CD is a must-have for anyone that loves the movie and musical.

My daughter and I went to see the new musical, "Aladdin," a few months ago and we both loved it! I saw the CD of the soundtrack while Christmas shopping and bought it for her as a stocking stuffer. She was so surprised when she opened it! We've been listening to it every chance we get.
