An Excellent Classic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is one of the Disney movies I was raised on. I watched it countless times on VHS as a child. That being said, I haven't seen Alice in Wonderland (1951) after my parents got rid of all of their VHS movies about 10 or so years ago. It was a wonderful trip down memory lane to re-watch this. The Blu-Ray transfer looks and sounds excellent, especially considering how old this movie is. The quality of the animation is also astounding. When I was younger I never noticed or cared about how expressive and high quality the animation was, especially Alice's, but now that I have taken animation and art classes I can really appreciate how good it is. Also, this movie is 1,000,000 times better than the modern train wrecks that are Alice in Wonderland (2010) and Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016). Seriously. Don't watch those, watch this movie instead.
