I like the packaging of this blu ray of Alien celebrating the 35th anniversary. And it does come with a nice comic and cards; great for any fan of the film and collector.

Love getting this steelbook, although making it unavailable to order on line for the first week seems to be becoming the norm for new steelbooks is still a pain but worth it.

The way they redid this with the audio and video was definitely complementing the series it's worth the purchase, now just waiting for the rest of them to be put on 4K disc.

This movie is on everyone's top lists. The 4k is not breathtaking in its improvement over the regular blu-ray, but if you're fan of the movie, it's worth the upgrade.

This new steelbook is beautiful. It really highlights this classic for a new striking look. And the fact that this release is the new 4k version just makes it even cooler.

This is a must buy if you're a fan of the Alien franchise and I must say the 4k remaster of this film is really perfect. Picked this up for $15..what's not to love!?

What a difference blu ray makes! So much better than my original was in VHS. This is one of my all time favorite movies, and would highly recommend buying the blu ray version.

I didn’t think I’d ever repurchase this movie after having the HD Blu-ray set. After seeing it in 4K I’m glad I did! It looks fantastic and blows away the 1080p version.

Absolutely the best this movie has ever looked on home video. HDR is solid. Inky blacks on Oled sets. Ser Scott passed on the Atmos remix which is the only minor flaw.

This steelbook is gorgeous and was definitely an upgrade of my standard Blu-ray edition. Still can’t over how it looks. Glad to finally own it in stunning 4k.

The 4K version of Alien is absolutely stunning. This classic Sci-Fi will probably be a show piece in your 4K library because of the quality of the movie & transfer.

1 must be a true fan to own every version ever made as I do. This remastered 4K version adds incredible picture detailing no Atmos however HDMaster audio. Well done.

The original Alien is a masterpiece that looks so much better than the CGI fests horror movies are now. The 4K brings it home looking the best it ever has.

this is easily the best sci-fi/horror movie ever made. Ridley Scott used the Jaws technique of showing as little of the creature to build optimum suspense.

Great sci-fi / horror movie. This first chapter introduces many questions to a great saga. Several decades later Prometheus and Covenant gave us the answer.

we all know that Alien is a great movie, and the 4k really does it justice, especially considering that this came out originally in 1979. id say its a must own 4k

40 year old movie that is still as good today as it was when it was released. 4K looks great and The Steelbook makes it the perfect collective. Highly recommended
