Pretty impressive with what they can do with a 40-year-old movie. It’s not as amazing as current movies, in regards to HDR and black levels, but it is pretty good. Excellent movie either way.

It's hard to believe 40 years has come and gone but this 4K blu ray will bring back memories watching Ripley played by Sigourney Weaver and Jones the cat try to survive in this sci fi horror

I love the Alien franchise and I love the 4K version of the this film. It really breaths new life in this classic movie watching it in 4K. I only hope they release Aliens in 4K soon!

I consider myself a huge fan of Ridley Scott’s Alien franchise. Watching the 4K version was amazing. Very clear. Sadly Dolby vision but most of movie is dark so HDR helps. Highly recommend.

Good picture quality. Nice that you get a digital version. I bought Prometheus, alien and blade runner with some points I had. All the same director. Go figure. Bye Chicago BB.

If you are a fan of this movie, this 4K UHD release is absolutely worth getting. This is a very nice upgrade over the blu-ray version and is probably as good as this movie has ever looked.

Excellent 4K disc. It’s amazing how a catalog title can look like a recently released title. And even looks better than some new movies. Plus if you collect digital codes , it 4k UHD too

Had to have the steelbook case for this movie. It's a real nice looking steelbook and it fits nicely with this classic of a movie. For the price difference, get this version if you can.

I purchase this because I couldn't find the steelbook, however it does come with the director's cut and a couple of audio commentaries. Overall, great original scofi horror movie.

I already own the Blu-ray version but when I saw this and the relatively low price I had to have it. Well worth it, great upgrade in picture quality, especially for a 40 year old film.

I've always loved the Alien movies. Ever since I was a kid. So when it came out in 4K, I had to get it. Very clear picture, even with all the dark settings in the movie. Love it!

Great movie as always! Looks as though ur watching it in a theatre! I highly recommend watching the theatrical version of the film. Especially if it’s your first time watch!

This movie is perfect in 4K. It was like seeing it again for the very first time. Detail and color is incredible. Steelbook art is first rate, a must have if you are a collector.

This has always been one of the best sci fi horror movies ever made and now in 4k the picture looks so much better detail is there you haven’t seen in the blu ray or dvd release

I've had Alien/Aliens on, let's see, VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-ray, Digital, and now 4K. I think I'll stick with this version until the holographic edition gets created.

Don't pass on this one folks. This release is leaps and bounds the best version of this movie you can get. If your'e a fan of the franchise don't hesitate on picking this up.

I was so lucky to snag this. I highly recommend...if you can find it. Sold out incredibly fast. The picture quality for this is superb. This is also chock full of extras too.
