Because of some great action and unintentionally hilarious moments, this is a very likeable movie if you are not a fan of the original series where each creature originates. This is a great B movie trying to be a blockbuster. It tries to put an interesting, serious back story to the Predators that we never heard from the old movies. Apparently the predators taught the early civilizations of man to build and in turn we worshiped them as our gods. This movie is greatly hilarious in moments where I believe the director and actors were trying to be serious. A friendship between a predator and a human... much bullet time face-hugger sequences... among other laughable things. This movie has enough to keep it enjoyable and probably one of the best B-movies out there today, I did not think that the production team would try to make a sequel based on the reception of this one but... alas... they did, and it turned out much the same.

If you're up for a deal on some mindless action and entertainment, this AVP package is for you. Granted, it is what it is, mindless entertainment --- but the bottom line is it's entertaining despite the poor acting, storyline and plot. The timeline throws everything off because the Alien movies were all based in the future and apparently the Aliens were discovered accidentally in the future. These movies are set in the present. Totally off and contradicting timelines. Oh well, entertaining nonetheless.

This was a good movie. As a fan of the predator I thought they looked really cool and had some awesome new weapons. It takes 45mintues or so before the Predators arrive and the movie starts to get good. They only send three Predators to fight thousands of aleins and two of them get killed off pretty early. So as a Predator fan I was disappointed in that. I think they could made it alot better but it still is part of my collection and I love it. The action and the fighting are definatley sweet. The special effects are great you will be glad you purchased this movie

The creepiest creatures from two epic thrillers face off in the ultimate showdown in this film directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. The fun begins when scientists and explorers (played by a cast that includes Sanaa Lathan and Raoul Bova) discover an ancient pyramid in Antarctica. But the structure isn't the only behemoth in the ice. A battle between two otherworldly populations is threatening to destroy the region and its inhabitants for good.

This movie was a real treat for me because it has both my favorite alien creatures in it. I remember watching alien and being so scared to go to bed at night. I loved predator and all the predator movies. So this movie was such a great thriller because it include both this creatures fighting for superiority. It is such a great movie! This is a good movie with enough action to keep you entertained throughout. It starts off a little slow, but picks back up and climaxes with a decent bout between the aliens and predators. I liked this movie, but didn't love it, at least the kept to some of the original ideas of the predators/aliens. Not bad for a weekend viewing.

I was worried when I heard they were going to do an Alien Vs Predator movie. But they did really well on this one. The story moves along pretty well and the effects are excellent. I enjoyed watching the film with the commentary with the director and Lance Henricksen and Sanaa Lathan as well. It was pretty entertaining.

This movie was rumored too be in the works for a long time. It finally came too fruition and Rocked!!! This was a great story, had a little bit of Lance Henriksen involved in it, and was flat out awesome. This is more action than scary, but just a lot of fun!!!

This was actually not a bad movie but really good. They even explained kind of how it all happened and such. The only down side was the girl who survives at the end, I didn't like her she was too stuck up and a bit of a know-it-all.

Great movie and I had it in a regular DVD but I had to enhance my collection by purchasing the Blueray version of the movie. I love this movie and the Blueray version enables it to be a totally different experience. Buy it and Enjoy the Adventure.

This is a good movie. I have to say the first Predator still kills this movie, and the Alien series is great, too. The two combined makes a good flick, and I recommend watching it.

it is cool and amazingly entertaining some R rated language but on worth sitting down and watching
