I have always been interested in this time period. The storyline is there a interesting and the story is told and played out on screen in an exemplary manner. 4K brings out the details in every set. A feeling of authenticity in each set makes the movie so realistic you would have to see it to appreciate it.

In 1942, an intelligence officer encounters a French Resistance fighter while on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. After the mission they flee to England with plans on making a family. But their relationship will be tested by the pressures of war and a secret that one of them carries.

This is a very well acted and cast film. I found the story wasn't up to the quality of the performers and the direction was erratic. It's a good movie but not what it should have been with the talent it had. In my opinion.

Terrific acting from Pitt and Cotillard. You can feel the disbelief and pain in Brad Pitt's face! There are still so many true WWII stories that haven't been told, I'm pleased that some directors and producers are making them known with quality productions like this remarkable movie.

I did really enjoy this movie with all it's little twists and I watched it twice in one weeks time. It really was much better than I expected but I just felt Brad Pitt could have done a bit better with his part.

Refreshingly different movie. Marion Cotillard is absolutely brilliant as the female lead and Brad Pitt is in my opinion better than he has ever been. Great love story with a surprising twist at the end. Great supporting cast and wonderful sets in Morocco and England. Highly recommended.

All the trailers for this movie make it out to be just another spy movie, but that is not the case. It is actually a love/spy story. It is a great movie for a couple that don't agree on what type of movie to watch.

It's both, and it was very entertaining. I don't remember there being any slow moments, as it was mostly either action or thriller moment forwarding the plot line. Brad and his leading lady were excellent.

This film caught me by surprise. I was not prepared for the exceedingly well told story of love and romance between two spies during World War II. Both stars bring passion and pain to their roles. Heartfelt and suspenseful with and ending that will bring tears to your eyes.

There is always a twist in every movie. The twist here is so surprising that it added to the mystery surrounding the story. This film is worthy to be one of Brad Pitt's entertaining and satisfying movie. Marion Cotillard, as always, gave a convincing and sexy performance.

This is a good film for both WWII film lovers and for those who like romance films with a bit more action and less comedy. Great production value and acting. Overall a great story that is well told.

Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard have a strong chemistry in Allied. I'm not into romance, but my other half really enjoyed the movie. For me, the spies and intrigue is what entertained me. Good movie.

The adult themes would justify its R rating even if the sensuality was removed. Perhaps Marion Cotillard didn't get an Oscar nod was that she already won one for "La Vie En Rose". Pitt was quite good too. Jared Harris (Richard's son) was fine in a supporting role.

Wow, a superb movie. Well done and well acted. The historical value of this movie is unsurpassed. This movie developed a great story line but the ending was so surprising to me and left me speechless. Hence a bit of a tear jerker. Excellent addition to my collection.

I liked this movie about spies during WWII. Brad Pitt played an excellent roll and everything looked authentic historically. I don't want to give away anything about the movie plot, and I do recommend this movie and the BluRay is worth the cost!

It was not a big box office hit, however, it did get good reviews so I took a chance and got it and LOVE this movie! Great war story, great love story. The two main characters, Brad Pitt and Marion Cottiard are FANTASTIC in their roles!

Pretty good flick but I thought the movie lacked the real tension normally associated with the spy trade in WWII. At the price I purchased it at, a winner ... at list price ... rent it.

Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard are dazzling to look at and she gives a great perfomance in a straightforward story in a movie that is very watchable but not as great as it could have been.

What an awesome team, two of my favourite core actors, Brad and Marion delivers strong performances in a wonderful epic film about WWII, and about love, true love. The question is what would you do for your true love? I hope they work together again.

Not much of a Brad Pitt fan, but I'm a fan of some of his movies and I liked this one. Interesting story, had you rooting for a good outcome for the couple. Liked the twist at the end.
