Although lacking the (some would say superior) theatrical cut of the film, this release is still pretty great. You get some great extras, that really take you back to the early 70s, along with the film presented in a first-rate presentation. Highly recommended for fans of Almost Famous.

This is an almost perfect movie which balances comedy, drama, and romance really well, while mixing it all in with a great sound track. If you have not seen this movie you, you really need to check it out, and if you just don't remember it too well, check it out again to remind yourself just how good it is.

For those of you who fondly remember the '70s this movie will be an enjoyable trip down Memory Lane for you. This movie realistically captures the feeling and the flavor of a touring rock band in that era and with a fantastic soundtrack as well.

Great movie and this disc comes loaded with extras: commentary, deleted scenes, even Crowe's old Rolling Stone articles. The only minor quibble I have is I would have liked an option to watch the original theatrical cut.

I've yet to see this version, but I'm posting to say that the name of this product is incorrect. It should read Untitled: Almost Famous - The Bootleg Cut. that is the extended edition that is described in the details section.

Kate Hudson does a superb job in this movie and the music is excellent from beginning to end. I never grow tired of watching

Almost Famous is a very vivid picture of the rock scene of the mid Seventies. Director did a great job capturing the mood of the times as well as good performances from the cast.

Only because I’m mad that I didn’t recieve my steelbook yet and I preordered it a month or two in advance like bestbuy if I can’t even get it anymore just let me get a refund cause this is just ridiculous
