Purchased this deck as a gift for a friend to replace a original radio in a 1999 toyota avalon. Most features are available on other radios in its price range, however, one thing sets this radio apart. Other radios in this price range only have a remote wire, but this also had a p cont wire that gets power with activation of am/fm. This allows control of the antenna position depending on audio source as opposed to it always being up whenever the radio is on. Highly recommend this radio if youre looking to integrate bluetooth in your older car that came equipped with a motorized antenna

Bought it for my 18 year old daughter and she LOVES it! Every feature you wanted is in this Radio. The BT speaker is pretty decent and sounds pretty clear. Look sand sounds good.

I know next to nothing about current automotive audio systems. I went to Best Buy to replace the last system I purchased there in 1997. I had the good fortune to work with a young professional named Gabe. Gabe took the time to explain to me what my options were and the pros and cons of each. He also explained how to arrange for install, and helped me make the right decisions. And, yes, I like the stereo, too. But in this internet age, in a brick and mortar store the service is more important than the product which can be gotten anywhere. Service, on the other hand, is a rare commodity. I appreciated and appreciate Gabe's service.

Alot of user friendly functions. Awsome power to subs. The only problem if ya want to call it one is that the shelves at store did not match up with displays

I wanted to replace my car radio with one with blue tooth. This radio/CD player was the most bang for my buck. Great sound and handless phone is a life saver!

Great radio for me. I don't like a lot of bells and whistles on my products (just makes it harder to operate for me). I just wanted a radio that connects to my iPhone. This radio is great for that. Alex who helped me pick it out and installed it was awesome from start to finish. He was the best part of the whole process.

I needed a sound system for commuting. It sounds great! The phone and blue tooth features are added extras and so useful for a commuter.

Had a old infinity head unit, this Alpine blows it away. Love the Bluetooth & USB Connections to my iPhone. Just looks and sounds good and tha's what I wanted

I used this stereo to replace a custom install in my 1963 ford. Overall the stereo produces great sound. The unique placement of the volume knob (more central) made this unique install difficult as it was slightly farther away from the driver. If your car does not have a microphone for voice calls you'll have trouble setting up the call functionality. The manual does not explain this well and I had to do a lot of trial and error to get it to work. Other than that the install was pretty easy and setting up blue tooth was a breeze. Very happy with the sound quality and would purchase this unit again.

I bought this because it can be hooked up to steering wheel controls, only to find out I have a vehicle that they do not make an adapter for ((2001 Dodge Ram). However, it has all the other features I wanted, bluetooth, the ability to use my cell phone through the system, etc. The instructions are a bit lacking, and working through the interface can be difficult, especially if you are not technically savvy.

Put this on my Porsche 951, Clean and slick radio. Alpine Quality 143BT is 100X better than the old and tired Sony. All features work and was an easy install.

I bought this deck primarily for the bluetooth capabilities here are some notes: - Out of the box settings the bluetooth mic works great. When on the phone everyone can hear me, and they can also reasonably hear me well despite road noice - Bluetooth mic has an adjustable gain. Which means you can adjust the sensitivity of the mic. - I use an android device (S3) via bluetooth and it plays everything I throw at it: stock music player, pandora, spotify and will play gps navigation directions - When using my phone you can use the head unit to skip songs forward and back - The deck is very simple... when I say simple the layout and navigation of the deck is very intuitive... you probably wont need to read the owners manual on how to use it... except possibly the first time you sync your phone to it - One downside of this deck is that sometimes when I try to play music when the phone is connected there is no sound.... the fix I found was to cycle through the sources aux, turner, usb back to bluetooth and then the sound is restored.... a minor gripe but its hard to tell if this is the fault of the phone or the deck - I did look at the pioneer and the kenwood in the same price point... i found the pioneer's lights to be too "loud" and "flashy" and i found the kenwood to have a rather dull display (plus it was a little more expensive) I like this product a lot and do not regret my purchase...

Great stereo. Like the sound quality and blue tooth. My daughter likes hooking her ipod up to it for long road trips. Got it on sale = prices was great.

At first i didnt like the blue lights it was too bright, but now it grew on me, no mute function, the bluetooth sometimes has to be disconnected and reconnected to play sound from my phone, they is a very basic set up which is great! sirius xm NOT SUPPORTED. looks great! works great! HAPPY!

I purchased this stereo for my son for his birthday. His Papa gave him his 72 Ford F100, which had the old cassette tape deck still installed. This was the best present I could have given him. He absolutely loves his new stereo.
