Nice and infinity speakers I love The Way of sound

Installed these in the front doors of a 2005 Accord and powered them with an Alpine KTP-445U amp. FYI Best Buy says these fit this car but be aware you'll have to get creative to mount the Tweeters and you'll definitely want the plastic rings to adapt them to the doors. They replaced a set of Rockford Fosgates (powered by the same amp (that in my opinion didn't sound great from day 1) which didn't last a year. Following the instructions/diagrams on the back of the box I was able to remove the tweeters from the bulky flush mount housings they are in and fit them in the stock dash tweeter grilles using some ingenuity and some zip ties. I looked at the diagrams on the box and I don't think the tweeters are designed to be surface mounted at all. These are rated for more power than the RF's they're replacing so hopefully they last a long time. I may get a 6x9 set for the rear deck as I'm not thrilled with the sound of the RF's I have back there. I tried to save a few bucks by going with another brand but in the end I spent more and installed Alpine.

I got these for a 2005 Scion TC and i wasnt expecting much out of the speakers due to the price (paid $120 on sale) but they sounded really good. I ended up get some kenwood speakers for the rear speakers of the car and i immediately noticed an issue with the sound. I'm an audiophile and when i put the sound balancer to rear only (with the kenwood speakers) versus front only (with the Alpine), there was a noticable difference in clarity for the sound & bass (which was more clear). I was surprised to see all the 5 star reviews but i can see why. I ended up returning the kenwood rear speakers and ordering these for the rear as well. Definitely recommended and worth the money, if not more. A+

This would be a 5 star item but the tweeter mounts are really fragile. I removed the tweeter from its base and when i tried to put it back together and twist it into place, the locking mechanism wouldn't hold the tweeter in place. I had to use JB weld and clamp it in place overnight which caused a delay with my install. I was hesitant on the type of crossover used but they sound really good. My other components have an external crossover so i didn't know how the Alpines would compare. I like the way they sound

Great quality speakers. They fit perfectly and made a big different in my cars audio.

Nice packaging, easy to install. Have these installed with a amp. The tweeters sound very tinny and jarring.

I have always been a fan of Alpine, so I was very excited to see that Best Buy began carrying them again. If you are looking for competition level speakers, skip and go to the R series. HOWEVER, do not discredit the S series. Even un amplified, these speakers produce a great sound. The tweeters are alright, but certainly better than any stock system. I have been pleasantly surprised for the quality of sound for the price, and I would highly recommend these to anyone who just wants better speakers than factory, but they’re not on the search for the highest of the highs

Very fair for the price.. came from pioneers 4 ways to these. At first it was very close but the difference from coaxials to components is a complete game changer in the sound. All my notes no longer come from my feet. If you have the extra cash i would recommend the r series on an amp. The mid/bass from these on my pioneer head unit is pretty weak but i have a complete system so i dont really care.

My stock speakers/tweeters lacked the crisp and clarity for all genres of music. These speakers that were recommended sound amazing.
