Bought the DVD for the extras; there is a very good documentary about the making of the movie which says is included... it is not on this 2 disc version. I ended up watching it on youtube. No need for this 2 disc version, however, for 5 bucks hard to complain as it is a very beautiful and entertaining movie.

I have been watching Amadaus since I was a chold. To be able to find it and watch it on blue ray has been a great experience for me. It is one of our family favorites!

Needed this in my collection, glad to have bought it.

The movie Amadeus is a biography of Amadeus Mozart. Without a doubt, it is one of the best 20 movies I have watched in more than 40 years.

Installing this LG dvd was most difficult. The my TV was a “smart” model. The DVR would not allow me to go from DVR to TV and back again.

I am not seeing what the people saw in this movie in voting it an Oscar for best picture of 1984. Amadeus laugh drove me crazy throughout the movie. That said I have seen worse movies. I can only give this a fair rating. Maybe average at best but no higher for me.

This was supposed to be a blueray disk. The picture quality was very poor plus it lacked a menu, subtitles and audio choices. This is the first Movie I have ever purchased from Best Buy and Sadly I would not recommend an older film reproduction purchase from the store.

When I ordered the movie it said the PG version and when I received it, it was the rated R version.

I need a new disc! Tried it in two different video players, stopped mid way and I could not finish the movie.

An iconic take on the fraught relationship between the talented but crass outsider (Mozart) and the establishment figures of the royal court, including the musically mediocre but scheming insider (Salieri). Probably not historically or musicologically accurate but highly entertaining nevertheless. Outstanding acting, direction and cinematography combine to make this a sumptuous, revealing character study that has withstood the test of time. Highly recommended.
