Great purchase. We’ve had it for a week or so. We constantly have kids going in and out. Haven’t had a issue with the door or the food staying cool. Not a “too brand” but it does what it’s supposed to do.

After months of looking for a low-priced side-by-side refrigerator, I chose the Amana. And I am not disappointed so far. After about a month, it does everything well. The food is kept cold and it is quiet. The ice and water dispensers work well. And it is big... lots of room for everything. This is all I'm looking for. It is not nearly as flexible as more expensive refrigerators. You cannot move the shelves all over the place, for example. But for basic needs, it cannot be beat. The best part of this new refrigerator was Best Buy. The installers were the best I've ever had for a major appliance delivery. I got constant notifications about when they would arrive. They called and emailed. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They did everything just right.

Bought in December 2023. It worked decent except the ice maker was loud and slow. I cancelled my Best Buy coverage April 30 because they refused to help with the slow ice maker, it started making loud noises on may 5th and then the fridge died may 14th. No warranty, no help from Best Buy, NOTHING just a $1100 pile of junk with $400 worth of rotten food. I forgot to add that this fridge was a replacement for a one year old Frigidaire that had to be warrantied out due to swelling and all the inside trays would fall out.

Amana has blown away our expectations. Food stays perfectly chilled. Easy to keep organized and easy to clean. Ice maker and water dispenser work wonderfully. Would definitely buy Amana brand products again.
