We are so happy with our Amana Fridge...Keeps food nice and cold...and the ice-maker and water in the door are a big plus! Plenty of storage and seal is excellent! Great Choice!

better than some higher priced units a bit noisy but it seems they all are made in amana iowa

The only thing that is missing is a cheese drawer or someplace to put your cheese items

Not more than 30 months old and the water dispenser is shot. 30 months old. Piece of crap. 1year warranty is over and now they want $300 to fix it. What a rip off.

Died after 18 months, and past warranty period of course. I tried buying the $480 Amana/Domestic General service contract in order to repair it, but 3 weeks and three service visits and parts orders later, it was deemed unrepairable (internal leaks). So I get the repair money back but still have to buy a new fridge and lost 3 weeks in the process. My tenants were not amused.

I cannot recommend this refrigerator. I purchased this and had it installed by Home Depot. Within one week the ice maker began leaking water onto the floor. The next day, it stopped working entirely and I had to throw out all of my food. Terrible purchase.

The refrigerator was delivered as defective. The side by side doors were uneven, meaning the refrigerator side door was about an inch and half higher than the freezer side BUT the bottom of the two doors were even?? The doors did not create a seal when closing. When I talked to a rep on the phone, she was very nice but said "I guess if you buy a new fridge, you would expect a new one." Was this not new? Refused delivery and am currently waiting, with fingers crossed, that I receive a new one.

A good refrigerator that suits my needs and is dependable

Horrible, water keeps dripping in the freezer, I’ve had to have 6 service technicians check the item and fix it . Not worth fixing it anymore

the ice button and the water button are too close. You can't get a tall glass in there to get ice.

The handles on my refrigerator was not on properly I called and I have yet to get a return call.

Purchased 4 years ago and it's already leaking heavily ruined our floors! Piece of crap! I told everyone I know not to purchase this fridge! Trash! And ofcourse the protection warranty plan is only for 3 years so it's useless! Do not Buy!

This refrigerator was lovely for 5 years. Then, it suddenly stopped getting cold enough to make ice. I called Amana but they wanted $400 up front to send a repairman so I called a neighborhood repairman who charged me $150 to clean it and run diagnostics. He was unable to get it running colder so I guess I'll have to buy a new refrigerator.

Brand new fridge, only used for 2 months, motor stopped working back in July/2022, technician came over, submitted report and I've been waiting for authorization to have it replaced since then. Meantime I have a young child who hasn't been able to drink a simple cold milk or buy groceries for my house because of this 3 month delay, not to mention the amount of money I've spent HAVING TO ORDER IN twice a day, for 3 months!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BRAND!!! They're horrible at phone and email customer service. You'll go through hell as I am going!!!! Shame on this brand!!!

I purchased this fridge Dec 12, 2021 My freezer and fridge stopped working. Please get warranty for these appliances, now a days things don’t last very long it seems like. Very disappointing and the price we pay.

I ordered an Amana refrigerator this past year and it has had problems since the day I received it. It is currently under warranty and I have had to wait two months to receive service while parts were back ordered. When the Amana Technician showed up he realized he misdiagnosed the problem and had to re-order parts and I am still waiting. Very poorly made product, terrible service. Would not buy.

So far it was good but is giving problem with ice maker it making to much ice coming out don’t know what to do

Please don't do what I did and fall for the positive reviews, this fridge is junk. Purchased in March and already in May it is leaking water everywhere inside the freezer. I checked my water lines and they are fine, it seems like one of the lines inside the fridge cracked. I really wish I could return it. Waste of $1000.
