What I thought would be a good replacement for my fridge turned out to be a dud. The Amana is almost always working, which means it's also making a lot of noise. The noise was so bad that I returned it for another brand's fridge.

This is an excellent refridgerator, at least so far.

I purchased it for our new home and it's excellent...

Unfortunately need to turn temperature almost all the way to get cold enough. Has some condensation on shelves. Not bad for the price.

If you don't have cups with big openings ice will definatley be all over the floor but water tastes really good.

When I received my product I had to clean off blue marker marks and streaks and also clean actual dirt out of the refrigerator. That's not an expectation I have for new products. Filter continues to open and leak on its own which is very annoying and messy.

We've had this one for a year and are very pleased with it. We shopped a lot before choosing the Amana. It turned out to have the best feature set for a 22-25 cubic foot unit and fit nicely into a smaller space, 30" wide, than the old one. Initial issues with the ice maker spitting cubes past the glass onto the floor were fixed by a local shop under warranty. We also had to run several gallons of water through the system to get ride of plastic taste. Now that it is settled in, we find it so quiet one has to step up close to hear it actually working. I've installed thermometers in both sides and carefully adjusted for recommended temps, 40 degrees/F refer and 20 degrees/F freezer. The system is so efficient both freezer and refer can be held in those temp ranges with very low power use.

Wish it would of came with all the items needed :(

There are couple of damages top of the doors and they are covered by tapes. Looks like rusty.

We are older and no children in our household. However, the veggie bin has cracked from top to bottom and split when less than 2 months since our purchase. We contacted the manufacturer and they are replacing but you need to be aware that that plastic is so thin that the bins do not hold up to average use.

Fridge is excellent but I cross my fingers every time I need ice. The ice makers of my previous two machines next dropped a single ice cube on floor. This ice Despencer put ice cubes all over the floor every time we used. Wife hates it.. Kids hate it and I hate it. Crush ice isn't used because it even worse. The ice shoot allows to many cubes to come down to fast and overload cups. They need to redesign the ice despencer because I'm I hate to even get ice, I just open the freezer and grab cubes and place cubes in cup. I also didn't realize the water was not chilled so water is room temp which isn't great. Fridge is good ice maker is horrible.
