My 89yr old mother

She is sooo happy with it she can manage and understand clearly how it works. Most important its easy clean top and quality material at a reasonable price. Cheap basic range with few features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The oven light does not come on when the oven door is opened even though the manual says, "The oven light will come on when the oven door is opened." I wasted lots of time on the phone and online chat with Amana only to be told the same thing the manual says. They offered to schedule a service person to come look at it, but it would take over a week for them to get here. Best Buy Geek Squad came to look at it the day after install and determined that there is no switch or wiring that would enable the oven light to come on when the door opens. So, Amana customer service, the advertising photos and the manual are quite misleading. I am having Best Buy haul it away and am replacing it with a Samsung. I have no faith in Amana's products if they cannot accurately describe the basic functions of their simplest range.
