This is a great, no frills, does what it needs to do dryer. I had to replace a not-so-old Whirlpool Cabrio dryer that died after only two years of use, so I looked for something more basic. My search brought me to this dryer, which had good ratings and a good price. After using it shot the past almost 6 months I can say with confidence that I made the right choice. Has just enough settings to be useful and dries everything without a fuss.

It works great and quiet. I love it as it serves a house of 8 and it works well with the big loads.

This Amana dryer is great. It has a retro look that I like. It has clear, straight forward instrumentation in "old style" knobs (i.e., not LED lights). The 6.5 Cubic Feet is a lot of space. It was easy to use from the first load. If (when?) my washer of 25 years retires, I will get the matching Amana wash machine. I think my wash machine likes the new young dryer and is determined to keep up with it. I have to admit I bought this dryer as it was one of the least expensive models. I now would buy it because of its design and functioning.

The dryer works gr8! It has a huge capacity, and runs quietly.

I wish this had a light inside but other than that it's quiet and very good. Meets all my needs. First time buying this brand but I'd recommend it.

Very happy with this dryer. No fancy dials or gadgets, just a standard dryer. Works perfect, dries clothes, has a wrinkle free setting, can hold big loads. Very happy and would recommend

Easy to install and is big enough for big laundry loads. Not very loud and works like it should. I have had it for several months now and have no complaints. Good product.

I wanted a gas dryer with minimum electronics. The less to break the better and all that electronics will failure you and will cost you a fortune to have someone fix it. Lets face it. The main purpose of a clothes dryer is to get hot and dry the cloths. This dryer does it with no complaints. My previous dryer was similar and it lasted 30 years. Enough said.

Large dryer tumbler . Doesn’t automatically shut off but it does a good job and dries things quick. Limited options.

So far so good and quite, I can dry a lot of clothes in a one time, before my old one can not do it if my clothes is too much.

We like the looks, the size and the performance. It's very quiet. It has more than enough features for our needs. The prize is right. Great customer service from the lady in the sales department.

I needed a washer and dryer for a house I had bought in Arizona. I was in Wisconsin at the time that and saw this on sale along with the washer. By the time I went into Best Buy the sale was over. I found that Home Depot had it on sale and Best Buy matched the price. This is a simple, not a lot of gadgets dryer. For the price it's fine for just me. Since it is just me I'm sure it will last for as long as I need it. I had Best Buy deliver and install it along with a washer and refrigerator. It's working fine for me.

Our 9 year old dryer went out, so I needed a new one. My budget was very limited so this one at ~$400 fit the bill. It is a very basic dryer, with minimal settings (see pictures on BB website). The inside of the drum (where clothes are placed) has no light. But if all you need is dry clothes at a low price, this is it. Clothes dry in less time than my old GE, so hope to see a lower gas bill. Time will tell if it lasts for 9 years like my GE.

Getting to know this dryer over the last few weeks and it is doing an adequate drying job. The automatic, high setting seems to work better on my clothing, leaving jeans and tops soft and dry. The self control setting did not dry enough after an hour, tho that may have more to do with my washer leaving clothes too wet. I am glad there aren't a lot of setting to fool with, since i want a simple, easy machine that works.

This dryer is exceptional for the price. Very quiet and easy to use. It takes less time drying my clothes than my previous Whirlpool.

This was a purchase made for my 96 year old grandmother. It was a well needed update to her 25 year old unit. Bestbuy and the Geeksquad installers made it the most amazing experience for both her and the rest of the family. They were on time, took the old unit, charged us for only the things we needed and made the process of teacher her how to use the new unit seamless for her. This has been a great product for her and she is so happy that she sent the family a photo through Facebook of her hugging the unit right after it was installed. Thanks Best Buy for another great buying experience. You can not get that type of service or feeling from buying at another retailer.

this is a great working gas dryer. handles all our loads correctly, and, very easy to use. wish it had an inside light tho to be perfect.
