Although this is not a high-end tablet like a Samsung or iPad, it offers very good functionality for a modest cost. I purchased the "plus" model for an extra Gigabyte of memory and am glad to have done so. The device is speedy and responsive, the display clear and bright. The sound quality could be a little better, but if one buys the device (as I did) mainly for reading, this tablet should work out well. The Fire OS is based on an older version of Android (9) and doesn't come with the ability to download Android apps. But this deficiency can be easily rectified by downloading several files which install the Play store on the device. Without this capability I would have returned the tablet, but am very happy being able to use all of my Android apps as I did on my previous tablet (and phone).

I am very unskilled at technogy, so this device is perfect for me. I also could never afford the more expensive tablets. This device allows me to do everything that I want to do, very easily. It is my 3rd or 4th Fire Tablet.

It's a fire tablet, VG for Amazon consumption and basic games from the amazon app store. No access to Google play store. Cost is representative of limited features, so not a bad buy if you consume amazon content.

Screen look decent and is decent in performance for price. Good bang for buck.

Nice tablet if you want a tablet only. I mostly wanted it to use for the echo show feature. It worked but not as good as the regular echo shows. I returned it for the echo show 15 which works perfectly. This tablet is nice for watching movies and tv. It has fire tv built in which I like. But the echo show 15 is a lot better for my purpose anyway.

Good for small jobs and price. Like the big size and light.

My mother in law bought this and she loves her tablet. She plays games, reads books & plays on social media. She has dementia and its very easy for her to operate.

Bought this as a replacement for our son. We knew the limitations for the fore tablet going in with limited apps. Our son likes YouTube kids and although you can eventually get to it the process is cumbersome on this operating system. Beyond that Fire tablets are reliable and a low price.

Excellent tablet, fast processing and seemless video graphics. I love the brightness and depth in video definition.

It is great! Much lighter than the Gen 7 it replaced. Over all size the samr but with smaller bezel the screen size is bigger! Great sale price also!

My old Fire went up in smoke so I needed another. This new one is fast and functional. I love it! Moving all of my data into it was a snap. I received great customer service from Best Buy and buy most all of my electronics from there.

This is my third Fire. It is my third because I love the product. the previous 2 I used till they wouldn't go anymore. I love that it is smaller than a laptop, but with all the features.

Very impressed with this tablet for the sale price of $109.99. Probably wouldn't pay the full price, would just get an iPad at that point. Solid screen, good contrast and color. Fairly snappy processor. Wont stand up fpr heavy gaming, but a great streaming device and can handle light gaming. I recommend looking into the amazon fire toolbox app to allow access to google play store, but do your own research there. Basically turned mine into an android tablet.

Been giving my wife the 10" fire tablets for years. She loves them The price is great the screen is full HD and 10" size is just right for her. So when the plus came out with more ram I had to get it for her.

Was bought as a Christmas present for my mom. We thought she could use it to keep in touch with people that she doesn't see as much anymore. Ease of setup and use were a huge selling point for us.

IT was a great buy. My friends play with it during the day time and I get it at night time. so we share it. I am thinking about getting something like it .so he has one and i have mine.

My wife loves it. She’s not the most tech savvy but found it easy to learn and navigate. She reads a new book every other day.

Excellent everyday tablet at bargain price. Super screen resolution and clarity at this price point. Reasonably quick too. Nice alternative to the base IPad that costs 3 times what this does and memory is expandable at a far lessor cost than a higher memory IPad vs. standard IPad. Good battery life. Also great for watching video especially if your an Amazon Prime member.

Works very well, good screen and connects with the internet fast. Used in USA and Europe. It is a bit bulky for use while traveling, a small unit would have been better for travel.

Bought for my girlfriend and she loves it. Gets used everyday to read books.
