Perfect Kindle

I wanted bigger, but the 10" seemed too big to comfortably hold while laying in bed. The Fire 8 is a perfect fit for me. The sound quality is great and gets nice and loud while watching movies!

An Amazon Prime device

I wanted a decent tablet to watch my Amazon videos (that I bought; not through Prime,) and read books bought through Kindle on, but I ended up returning this. The product itself feels very cheaply made and plasticy. I did really like the "widescreen" effect when I was watching movies on it; but the poor visual quality (I've seen on "HD" tablets that have better quality than this one,) really disappointed me. Also, the new Amazon Kindle Fire layout leaves a lot to be desired. I will wait and see if something better comes out.

Works well, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....I'm experiencing a periodic issue with the Fire HD and Netflix, where videos get stuck in a "Loading..." status. I have not experienced the issue on other devices (computers, tablets, phones). While I can't definitely say the issue is with the Fire HD, the fact that no other devices are experiencing the issue leads me to think it is. Other than that, this has been a great product.

Nice upgrade from Kindle Fire HD

This model has some improvements--a front and back camera, add on memory capacity, is faster...... I'm pleased.
