I bought this for my parents when DIRECTV and CBS were battling over contract and CBS went dark for three weeks. I set it up for them and showed them how to use it and access it from their TV remote to the right TV input. It was a life saver during the downtime as I helped install the CBS ALL ACCESS app on it for them. I also have a Fire Stick on my own television, but I have the 4K stick that works great with my TV. If the TV providers continue to black out channels when they are in dispute, I know my family and even my parents, are considering going to streaming services in the future. The picture quality is pretty close and even better with certain apps, than what we get from DirecTV. You can also see many programs and movies that are included for FREE if you have an Amazon Prime account.

I wasn't sure when I bought this product if it would be a good option for us to use instead of our cable which often has nothing we want to watch. The Fire TV Stick is GREAT! I really got it because i wanted to subscribe to Acorn or Britbox to watch the British tv shows ($). It is easy to set up (once I got it to sync with my wireless router!) and use, and is very entertaining. I bought another one for some other family members, and they're loving it, too. Great option for them because they're in a rural area where there is no cable access. WELL worth the price, which is quite reasonable.

I own the previous model and this is a much better experience. First off the remote is a huge improvement. The power button on the remote can turn on my tv, my receiver, fire stick, and switch the inputs automatically so the fire stick is on screen and ready to go with just one click of the power button. It's really nice. This is how it should have been all along. It gets even better though... lets say my TV is already on, and my receiver is set to a different input such as my FIOS tv box? All you do is click the home button on the remote and the remote switches the receiver to the correct hdmi input on the receiver for the fire stick! One remote to rule them all, and yes it controls volume on the receiver too! This is excellent. It's highly configurable. The setup is quite nice. You can define which inputs get picked when hitting the power and home button. You can define which device the volume buttons control. Amazon has done a great job with the Fire Stick 4K.

After years of having to use satellite for internet and TV due to my location, I finally became eligible for and got fiber optic with wi--fi. I immediately started researching devices for streaming TV and found that the Amazon Firestick not only filled all my requirements but was the best priced for all it offered. Set up was easy, and the Alexa voice feature made everything that much easier. No need to scroll through endless menus! Simply tell Alexa what you want, and you're there! Unless in the VERY rare instance "she" can't find it. It's extremely user-friendly even for kids, and you can set what parental controls you need. AND...I get to watch any show I want and am paying less than a 3rd when I had satellite. Plus, there is NO monthly fee for using the Firestick, and you can link up to your Amazon Prime account (if you have one). I highly recommend it! You WON'T be disappointed.

Easy to use, so much options for movies, shows, etc to watch. All you need is a compatible TV. to plugin. Alexa can find any movie/show to watch. If you have amazon prime/movie that's a plus!! You can also cast your mobile device as well. So much apps to choose from and download. We hardly watch regular cable anymore, every night is movie night with this quarantine. Finding all time classic favorite movies are the best!

Deciding to cut the cable, I bought three of these from BB in about a 2-week period and hooked them up to 3 different TVs in my house. They all were easy to set up and they seem to work just fine. However, they all act just a little differently from each other. On one, I absolutely cannot get NetFlix to save in my "favorites" list of apps, though I managed just fine on the other two. On another, my search results for the "Weather Live" app returns zero results even though I found it and installed it on the other two. It's also a bit frustrating to me that both the Fire TV Sticks and the Rokus each have "exclusive" apps. One neighbor can't use a Fire Stick as they don't have the Comcast cable TV app, and has to use Roku. Another can't use Roku as they don't have the Dish Anywhere app and has to use a Fire Stick. I do wish the remotes had numeric keypads to allow jumping to a particular channel on some streaming services (like the above mentioned Comcast and Dish apps). And I wish you could turn them off as they seem to get hot and stay hot. However, you can't beat them for the price, particularly when they go on sale for under $30.

I loved this so much I bought a second one. You need this in your life! It is so easy and I love that the options for apps are limitless! Go get one of these right now! The HDMI hooks right into your television and the remote controls your tv as soon as you plug it in. This is a perfect option to add a smart feature to your television or projector or whatever you need.

You can't say enough good things about the Firestick. For broad range of apps and offerings, ease of operation for people possessed of any level of tech experience, and consistently low price it would be hard to make a case against owning one (in my case several). Even with half a dozen other media players plugged in you'll find yourself going straight to the Firestick. Don't overthink it, just give it a try.

We love our Amazon Fire TV stick! Alexa is an awesome bonus! We should of bought this device a long time ago. We stream Hulu ,Netflix ,Amazon Prime video, sling and many more. The remote allows us to search through all our apps at once. Simply speak to Alexa and she brings it up instantly. Verses clicking on each app individual. Making it so much easier when browsing . One of the best bargains of 2019!

This firestick was very low priced when I purchased it. I had an older version, but when I purchased thia one for my other tv, I almost wanted it in my room instead of my previous model. This one can control your tv from the firetv remote. The crispness and quality detail and all is just amazing. If you want to make your tv smart, withoit the hassle of an expensive price, then this firestick is the way to go!

My wife really like Amazon Fire Stick. It's easy to use and it's smart. Best of all it responds to our voice commands which has the amount of time searching for shows, apps and Chanels almost negligible. It fits right in my hand and it's convenient. It doesn't take up a lot of space. The Streaming is fantastic! I have many remotes and this one does virtually everything.

This is great easy to use. Right out of the box. How it works with Alexa. The voice remote part I don't use that much but it's good for outher people that use it. I think for the quality and price. It another opinion to have. I have a smart tv already. But the fire stick I use for my projection screen. So the turns into a smart projection.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick is one of the least expensive streamers you can buy. Voice features are best-in-class, and Echo and Dot owners can control it with Alexa. Its app selection is superb, responses are fast and video quality is as good as any streamer. The remote can control volume and power on TVs, sound bars and AV receivers.

Replaced a blown up Roku and this thing rocks - pretty fast - very easy setup, great price. And as a bonus - it has TV power and volume buttons on the remote so no more multiple remotes to run a streaming device --SCORE.... Liked it so much I bought two and will buy two more.

This is very nearly as simple as plug and go. Fire TV stick is intended for HDMI connections on your TV - you may have to purchase an adapter if you have an older TV set. Have all your passwords close at hand before starting the connection process IF you have any of these accounts: Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, Cackle, HBO, Apple, Disney Plus, etc. You'll be prompted to sign in during setup. Just follow the onscreen steps and the quick start booklet. It takes about 10 minutes to go through all the screens and get you started. I liked the Fire Stick so much that I bought a second one for another TV in the house. I was watching YouTube and Netflix on my computer monitor prior to the Fire Stick and this is so much better. You won't regret this purchase.

I love the new FireTvStick 4K, the picture quality looks great, I love the new remote. It was easy to set up the new remote to my Samsung Smart TV & My Samsung Sound bar. I use it to watch DirectvNow and it works flawlessly. I honestly recommend this device.

Amazon TV Fire Stick is quick and easy to set up. Works much faster than the old Firestick. Alexa voice control is a great feature to have, makes searching for shows lighting fast ! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a inexpensive and well worth streaming device.

I have a older model that I purchased from BB a couple of years ago and this one by far is the best. I love that the remote control works with my tv. The setup was super easy and for the price, you can’t beat it! I’ll surely be purchasing another in the near future.

easy install , makes any tv a smart tv, and is inexpensive. bought two one for a bedroom and one for an exercise room that i didnt want to pay a monthly charge for a cable box, they work great and with the large selection of available streaming content they really fit the bill.
