Best firestick so far. Fast and very easy to navigate. Setup is easy and doesn't take long at all.

I am new to streaming and I was told either device, Roku or Amazon Firestick would be sufficient. I previously purchased the Roku because the store was completely out of Amazon Firesticks. That should have been a clue for me to wait until they were back in stock but I was eager to get started on my streaming. Although the Roku allowed for me to stream, By being an Amazon Prime member, I received so much more from the Firestick. I am truly loving my decision to cut the cable cord!

Very easy to use, Works as expected. Made our non Smart TV open up to a whole new world. Enjoyed all the features this gives to make it easy to stream and give you access to free TV Streaming Services. Looking forward to the 4K model when we have a 4K TV I would love to see more storage on the device to keep it from slowing down without having to reboot or refresh it.

Better streaming and a volume control! Ease of install/setup has improved over 1st gen and at a great get it now price!

I bought this for my mom who cut cable at the start of the year. After doing a lot of research and reading reviews (I'm an Apple guy, myself), we determined that Amazon's Fire TV Stick was the way to go. The menu interface is great - she uses YouTube TV, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime, mostly. Easy to use, fast, and she loves that you can do voice commands and searches. Ended up buying several of them so that other TVs in the house could have them, as well.

Easy to setup right out of the box. The Fire TV stick came with an external power accessory but I found powering the stick with my TV to be more convenient. I found Amazon Fire interface very intuitive and responsive. Remote is capable of turning on and off your TV and switching to different TV inputs (HDMI, Antenna, etc..). Amazon Fire has a plethora of supported apps to satisfy most of your streaming needs including Youtube, PlutoTV, ESPN. Very happy with my purchase of the Amazon Fire TV stick and remote, highly recommend.

Easy to use and it’s fast, I love streaming and using my firestick really help me cut back on cable.

One of the things I hated about streaming is needing multiple remotes or having to use a separate smart device. The remote not only works with Alexa but it turns on/off the TV and I don't have to use another device to cast or another remote to stream. There are more apps available on it than I'll ever use. And screen resolution is better than what I had with an older cast device. And it was on sale! A must have for losing the cable.

The fire stick has been very, good for me. Set up was a snap. The picture is great and so is the sound. If there are technical glitches I haven't noticed them. Negotiating the graphical user interface is very easy and natural. I love being able to use Alexa. There is so much available it boggles the mind and I love the foreign channels. The fire stick is the best thing to come along since the VCR. I would highly recommend it for my family and friend.

After more than a year of thinking about purchasing a Fire Stick so I can cut the cable, I finally purchased two! I caught it on sale, so that’s a bonus too! So far, this is the best decision I could have made. I have really enjoyed my Fire Sticks. I am able to watch a variety of movies/tv shows. Plus, I can watch cable tv without the high prices! It’s easy to setup, install, and use. If you are wanting to cut the cable, Fire Stick is the way to go!

This is my first experience with Amazon fire stick. I found it very easy to install and the remote synced up with my tv with little effort. I have an older Insignia tv. During setup all I had to do was point the remote at the tv and push a button. Remote now controls on/off and volume on tv. I have a Roku unit in my bedroom and find it cumbersome compared to this system. I will be buying more of these for my non-smart tv’s.

This device definitely has the easiest remote control there is. Using voice commands really makes it easy to call up the show or film that you want to watch. And since it all works over your WiFi, there is no visible device showing. It plugs into the HDMI socket on your TV or multimedia unit. Picture quality is very good on my new Samsung TV. So, go get one. You will surely like it.

Pros: the Alexa voice remote. Works just like the echo. This is a good improvement on the previous model Fire TV Stick. Apk's install a lot quicker and run smoother. The remote is also improved with the ability to change your TV's volume and turn on/off. Cons: battery life isn't good. And reconnecting is a pain.

We absolutely love our new fire stick. We have never had anything like this, the setup was so easy. I love all the different app’s you can download for free and Alexa is definitely a plus. The only thing I am disappointed about is there are no apps to download for NHL, my husband is a huge hockey fan but we cannot find any app’s. We wanted to get rid of satellite but can’t do that without some hockey app’s.

This is the perfect device to buy for your television if you are paying for subscription services like Hulu and Netflix. The home page is easy to navigate and the remote control is always responsive. You do not have to worry about paying for an additional box per television like cable users you can buy as many and have them on all your televisions. Not to mention that I only paid $19.99 on Black Friday.

Have an old TV, A 10 year old 47" JVC LED flat panel. Worked fine but of course was not a smart TV. When I decided to quit using satellite TV I got the Fire TV Stick. Works really well and with my Amazon Prime account I can stream all sorts of TV shows and Movies at no extra cost. I really dont miss satellite TV after getting this.

Very happy with this fire stick. Had recently used a roku device and had lots of trouble with connectivity and it crashing. This one has to be re-set every once in a while but is a huge improvement. Quick response time, easy to use and I love how compact it is. It's also very nice to have the remote app for your phone so you can use it even if you don't have the remote control handy.
