Before getting the fire stick-our Netflix and other Internet services on our TV was spotty at best. Once we installed the fire stick we are able to watch our shows easily. We love the feature of being able to talk into the controller and having it go right to our favorite shows! It's truly amazing and we are So glad we have it!

I bought this as a gift, and my parents love it! It is simple to use and easy to setup.

Picked up the fire tv stick with voice remote while it was on sale for $39. While it can do most things that a good smartTV can do, it does has have other functions such as the morning briefing/news, traffic report, sports updates and weather (if setup through the Alexa app available on iOS) when using the voice commands. Best thing is that it is easy to take to a friends house or when traveling.

I like the compact size and the voice remote. Also nice that you can add apps from the app store.

The Fire Stick with Voice Remote is pretty neat. To watch on the screen when it takes your voice input. This remote for this unit seems better built than the TV Stick without voice. Maybe just the unit I got, but I liked this remote better. What Amazon has done for this stick is amazing. What is even more is the ability to add Kodi to this stick. That opens up a whole new world of movies etc.

For $40, you won't find a more useful A/V product. If you have any older or smaller TV's that aren't smart-capable, this thing will transform your viewing experience. With access to Prime, Netflix, Sling, Pandora and so many other live TV, music and entertainment apps, you'll never run out of things to do. It's fast and very easy to use. I don't know why I waited so long to get one.

I purchased the Amazon Firestick as an impulse buy and I am glad that I did it. I wanted to test drive Alexa before deciding to purchase the Amazon Echo and this gave me a low risk option to do this. The only thing that I wasn't able to do was control my smart home (Philips Hue) bulbs though which was a little disappointing. Having an Amazon Prime account makes this worth it.

Love the voice remote. Great value. Portable and can be taken on trips.

Although the fire stick sometimes loses conectivity, I enjoy being able to watch all my Amazon prime content on my flat screen tv, which is a definite plus. I've recently repositioned my fire stick with an hdmi cord away from the tv yet more accessible to the wifi signal and it seems that has helped with connectivity issues. Overall this is a great product that I would recommend to others.

I absolutely love the fire stick. I purchased based on a Best Buy associate's recommendation. I actually went to buy the Roku. I am considering giving up my basic cable which is way overpriced for the channels I have. I'm enjoying Amazon Prime and Netflix and have downloaded some other channels. Will probably buy another so I can have one in the bedroom too.

I love this stick. I installed several "add ons" and it's perfect. Don't skimp on the non voice remote model. The 10.00 is well worth it. Only complaint I have is it says it overheats, yes it does get hot but.... Easy remedy, use the hdmi adapter and a spare cable, I think my tv gets too hot so YMMV. I have all the media items you can think of, appletv, PS4, XBONE, even an old Rojy. I can say I use this the most. If you have a 4K TV but the big boy (fire tv) but if only 1080p and don't care about playing certain games, save the money. Also this is great for traveling. Warning. Don't use any sub ports on your tv, use the plug adapter. You will get a message that pops upstaging performance will be degraded. This is a dual core so it may be sluggish if you don't use the adapter

Before purchasing this item I reviewed the other dongles to see which suited my needs best. Each device Roku, Firestick, Chrome, Apple have their strengths. I chose this because of its ability to load independent apps. which greatly extend its function. As a simple streaming device it is simple to us, but after downloading and enhancing it becomes outstanding.

We do not subscribe to cable services and the FireStick allows us more viewing options. So far, we have enjoyed a variety of TV shows and movies not available to us before. It was easy to get started and we found a couple of very reasonably priced subscription services that allow us many viewing options.

I bought this of the price and flexibility. Nice and portable.

I purchased this because my son-in-law recommended it for catching up on TV shows without commercial interruptions. I am binge watching multiple shows now along with my wife and are very happy with the product. Another daughter has purchased one to be able to watch her own shows after watching how easy it was to set up and use. Great product.
