Definitely a great value for the price. Still, a charging block and an ad-free home screen would’ve been nice. It’s a little ridiculous to have to pay a fee to remove ads on a device you’ve already purchased.

I understand your frustration with the lock screen ads. I wanted to let you know that you have the option to remove these ads from your Kindle. You can remove the Special Offers (ads) by going to your Amazon account under Manage Your Content and Devices > Devices > select your Kindle > and choose "Remove Offers" for a one-time fee. Alternatively, you can contact Amazon Customer Support at 1-888-280-4331, and they can help you remove the ads from your device. Removing the Special Offers will eliminate the lock screen ads, which should also help with the unwanted wake-ups you're experiencing.
