I was looking for a protective cover that was lightweight and would fit nicely into my purse. I looked at several others, but they were bulky and some had zippers - so you had to take the Kindle out of the protector for reading. Found this one - slim, lightweight and easy to hold while reading. Very happy with my purchase - and the price was right.

I got the most basic Kindle for $49 during a Amazon black Friday sale. I searched several places for a cover and found this at Best Buy for cheaper than it was on Amazon (plus they have now upped their free shipping to $35 orders, so yuk). It fits perfectly and I was able to put a label on the inside of the cover in case I lose it. It does attract dust and hair some. I wish it wouldn't lock my Kindle every time I close the cover, but I guess that's a Kindle feature. Overall, I am pleased and my Kindle can stay safely in my purse.

With this being just a basic cover it does its purpose. I like that when I close the cover it goes to sleep and turns on when I open it. I feel like if I dropped my kindle it would protect it, but I have not tested this theory. Wish it had more options for fun colored covers.

This cover is good in that it protects our Kindle while not subtracting from the thin, lightweight characteristics that we wanted in the Kindle itself, unlike other covers for e-readers, tablets, and phones will do.

I bought this case because it was literally the only case they carried for the regular Kindle. It is very basic, no bells and whistles and cost almost as much as the Kindle. Had I planned ahead, I would have ordered it from the same place I bought the device.

Exactly as described Good protection for Kindle 7th gen. Always sleeps and wakes up when the cover it's closed or opened. Good grip to help avoid dropping it. Tight fitting and ok price.

The case fits my Kindle snugly and has a cover for the front. Overall, I think it is very protective and even has some style.

Nice cover for Kindle. Nothing fancy, just made of cardboard, but looks good on Kindle. A bit pricey at $25, but better covers are more expensive.

Just wish it was another color. It doesn't stand out so it makes it harder to keep track of. I like the way the Kindle fits snugly into the cover.

The cover is good. when you open it the book turns on and close it it turns off. fits perfectly. the cover for the paperwhite is nicer though.

I love my cover for my kindle. I am very clumsy and drop things a lot so I needed one for protection and this ones perfect. It opens easily and you can flip it behind the kindle for comfortable reading. Also, when you close it it puts your screen to sleep. It's so nice.
