I'm a small Twitch streamer and was having a lot of difficulty getting my frames to stop dropping until I swapped out my old AMD for this bad boy. Now I get 0% dropped frames and my streams run perfectly. On top of that, I never get less than 60FPS while gaming. It's a really great upgrade. Definitely recommend.

AMD has really come a long way in their fight against Intel. The Ryzen 5 is a great solution for a budget gaming build. It will run games very well on very high 1080p settings, so unless you shelled out a ton of money for a 4K monitor, this is plenty of CPU. The included fan is just fine, and is nice and quiet.

The 2600 is the best value in the PC world today. It’s good as a light workstation CPU, it’s good enough at gaming, and it’s priced much better than the 8600k. For the money, there just isn’t anything equal for less. It’s the sweetspot of CPU’s.

I can’t say enough good things about this processor. I do some light gaming, video editing, and run a plex server and it seems to handle all of it very well. It also helps I am running an R9 290. If I have any bottleneck it’s the 5400 RPM drive I am running. Plan to upgrade to an SSD one of these days.

Purchased to rebuild my home computer and it exceeds my needs by miles. Like it so much I bought a second one for the wife's computer. Nice to know that you can purchase a solid cpu without breaking the bank.

I built my PC using this processor and it's a really good processor for gaming. I allocated most of money towards a graphics cards and other more important stuff.

So far I’ve liked everything about this processor. I just put together a first build and combined this with the Msi tomahawk MOBA and it’s working great. Using it for gaming so far. Good price allowed for more to be spent on a GPU upgrade.

Fast, quiet, gaming capable cpu. Runs all blizzard games with ease on max quality settings. Example runs world of warcraft easily. Plus able to run iTunes and more! Mid level gaming cpu for a decent price in my opinion.

This CPU can be even faster than man sons R7 1700 overclocked. It feels smother than my daughter's i7-7700 and it runs cooler and smother than my own R7 2700.for the right price this is the best buy in CPU's right now.

Using this for my sons first pc build. Bang for the buck it cant be beat. Running it on an Asus ROG board with the 450 chipset. Pair with a nice ssd drive and its leagues faster than the I3 he was running.

The performance was well beyond my expectations...games and applications run exceptionally well. Overall, a great cpu with good temperatures and performance.

Fast smooth and user friendly CPU. I opted for this one even though IT DOES NOT HAVE BUILT IN GRAPHICS, however worth it if you are efficiency-oriented. No need to overclock due to full 6 cores being used.

Got this little badboy for 150! I was between an i5-9600k and this one. For the price and performance this was the better buy, and I used part of the money I save for better ram sticks.

Upgraded from ryzen5 1400 to this 2600 huge performance increase, easily oced to4ghz stable liquid cooled. Running on an older gigabyte ab350n, cant wait to get my 450m to use it on.
