This is a show that, since day one, could not be watched week to week. I watch each season basically in one sitting. It's one of the most well thought out shows in recent memory. It's a new show each season, and it seems each season gets a little bit better, even though, as I'm watching, I tell myself it can't get much better than this. Season 4 has just begun, so I'll be watching it immediately after the final episode airs!

This is easily my favorite of the 4 seasons of "American Horror Story" so far. It's a twisted version of the familiar good witch/bad witch theme with clever details, sharp dialogue, and even a few surprises. The story and the characters are complex and fascinating, and the acting is top-notch. Even if you haven't seen any of the other seasons, they are stand-alone with a beginning, middle, and end -- more like a mini-series. That said, you can start here and not miss anything! The bonus features are also really solid. Hearing the actors talk about their experiences and seeing many of the real-life locations behind the scenes (places to look for when visiting New Orleans) just adds to the enjoyment. Keep it up, FX!

This season of AHS was a little slower than the first season but with so much more to love that I can't complain. There is a lot more drama and frustration in this movie versus the 1st season. If you don't already know, these season are NOT connected. They create and whole NEW storyline but they use the same actors. Every actor in this show is so gifted in the way they can morph into a new character and perform their role so effortlessly. The some plot twists are some what expected but the last episode was a big shocker. Give it a look-see. You'll enjoy it.

American Horror Story: Coven is a great series from Ryan Murphy. While most critics have panned the story for being 'over the top' and a bit illogical, what would you expect for a story about modern day witches trying to keep their coven/group alive in New Orleans. There are great performances by Lily Rabe, Emma Watson and Jessica Lange, plus we get the introduction of Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett. Considering the overall landscape, this witch story is something fresh in the overall glut of vampire stories.

I watch season one of American horror story and I didn't like it. As soon as season two was available on Netflix I got to give American Horror story another shot, I am glad I did because the second season was a lot better than the first. So when season three was released on Netflix I was excited and Coven didn't disappoint. The whole story with the witches, voodoo and Madame La Laurie made season three a lot more interesting. I like season three so much that I had to buy it.

I am a huge fan of the American Horror Story series and this third season gets even better! Focusing on the war between Witches and Voodoo Practitioners in New Orleans, the action and drama are pumped up to great lengths in this latest installment. Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett and Gabourey Sidibe give it their all in this gothic tale between these two haunting worlds. Also, the comedy featured throughout the season will leave you laughing hysterically and wanting more!

This series of American Horror story was the best. From the great enthrall ing visuals of the madames attic to the school. The actresses in this have critical acclaim in the film and television world. This was the best role for everyone involved. It doesn't get better than this show when it comes to the fun horror. It set a new bar and has a cult following which, I'd say is rare with dismal shows such as Once Upon A Time which falls short of anything good. Spend your money wisely.

For those who do not know, American Horror Story has a new plot every season. Starting with "Murder House" in season 1, "Asylum" in season 2, and now we have a witch's coven in New Orleans for the third season. Well acted, excellent scripting, and with just enough creep factor to keep fans going, this season introduces Kathy Bates and Angela Basset to the ensemble. Excellent season to an excellent series.

I watched both previous seasons of American Horror Story on Netflix, and needed to see the next one before it was released. Luckily, I saw this in store for a great deal and purchased it and watched almost the whole thing in a weekend. It's my favorite so far, including the current season Freakshow. The DVD quality is also very good and I hope to watch it again in the future.

This is a great series. Clever writing, great acting, top notch directing and production. I also like the recurring cast idea - that was a stroke of genius. I own all seasons and really like in total and think it is a must have for the video library!

This Third Season of "American Horror Story" entitled "COVEN" is even better than the first two seasons (which are also a "MUST SEE")! Witches in New Orleans: what could be better? Maybe a circus of "FREAKS" (now showing on FX)! Shot in a big money movie style, the directors and producers have made sure this series is TOP QUALITY programming!!!!

While "Coven" may not be as intense as the previous seasons, it's female driven cast is a huge bonus. The story is also an exciting and interesting concept you don't often come across in television. It blends the genres of horror and comedy well which is another reason this season stands out in the American Horror Story series.

American Horror Story series good for any fan of suspense/horror. This season was not my favorite but was a huge step in the right directions in comparison to asylum. My favorite being Murder House. But who knows Freakshow is really turning into something. I guess we will see when it concludes. Coven still good at keeping your attention.

I have been a die hard AHS fan. Season 1 was outstanding; Season 2 also was very good. But Season 3, was the slowest, dullest season of AHS. There's no compelling story here, just gore and an attempt to shock. And some very unconvincing and ridiculous acting by the younger actors. Jessica Lange, however, never disappoints. Kathy Bates, also was excellent, as always. I was hoping these seasoned professionals helped pulled this season from the brink of absurdity but it didn't happen. It is still a good AHS season for your collection.

Just when you thought AHS couldn't top the 3 previous seasons, they did with Coven. I really didn't think this would be a good season it being based on witches. I couldn't have been more wrong! After watching the very 1st episode I was hooked! Great season, great show, and I can't wait to see what the next season brings.

Ran in to pick up a gift for a friend and caught this for cheap for myself. Obviously a must have for any fans who squirrel away complete series. Great quality discs with full menus including special features. Not like those $5-$15 copies available at other stores.

I tried to watch this on Netflix after the first season and could not get into it. After buying them and sitting down and watching them back to back I really have enjoyed the series and have surprised myself at how quickly I'm speed watching them! I would recommend you give them a try!

This season takes place in modern day New Orleans with the classic withcraft theme. But it takes all sorts of dark twists and turns that keeps you hooked! This was the first of the seasons I ever watched where I was thrilled at the shock value a TV show could provide.

In my opinion, this is the BEST series in the entire franchise!! The cast and acting are excellent and the New Orleans setting is a wonderful bonus. I especially liked the guest appearances of Stevie Nicks. The story twists and turns and is full of surprises. Enjoy!!
