The season that starter it all. This one almost has a different feel to it than any of the following seasons, maybe just sentimentality for the origins. Anyhow, highly recommended, second best season of a killer (pun) series.

The first season and the best one, in my opinion. All seasons have been at least worth watching, but the first was fresh and a better theme to it, I'd say.

Purchased the two dvds for my daughter for christmas, I have not had a chance to watch either of them, but my daughter has and she really loved both of them. Couldn't wait for for third one to come out, wants entire collection of them.

American Horror Story: Murder House started what is a great series. Perhaps Murder House is the best seasons of all AHS. Great acting along with great plots and subplots made this very exciting to watch from beginning to end.

I really enjoyed this story and binge watched the show in two sittings! Well written, well acted, and production was great too. I'm really looking forward to the other seasons that I picked up!!!

Caught the first season on Netflix got hook, Great show kind of reminded me of of a mixture of dark shadows, Night Gallery brought a different and familiar flavor to horror. Got so hook watch the next 3 seasons. Great Series.

This TV show is the best horror I've seen ,better then even a big screen horror movie. This season one is viewable more than once. Star power ,great story. Video great audio as well.

This first installment of AHS is a lot of fun! It takes your classic Haunted House movie and gives you an extended look over an entire season! It has its twists and turns with laughs in between.

I recently became a America Horror fan, I don't really care for Horror show or movies but the way theses show are done seem different and I like all of them. Can't wait for a new one to come out

I love the American horror series which I began watching in season three. Was so excited to see seasons one and two available at Best Buy. I picked both seasons up and had no regrets; love the series.

I was hooked from the beginning. If you like suspence/thriller movies, make sure you watch this. Great cast. I Watched ep 1 through the end in two days, I couldnt wait to see what would happen next.

The writing is clever, twisted and surprising. I wouldn't call AHS all that scary, but the music and visuals make for one of the creepiest viewing experiences I've ever had. The first is the best.

When this ran I never saw it & have no DVR. Most of my friends seemed to really enjoy the series. I decided to invest & add to my horror collection. Although I enjoyed the first season, it was spooky & kept me guessing & compelling enough to keep me coming back for more but, some of the relationships just left a bad taste. Overall, I enjoyed it.

I started watching the series during the middle of season 3 "Coven". I'm glad I got this season. Good and suspenseful. However, need a strong stomach. Some of the stuff freaks me a bit out.

The whole series keeps you guessing. Ryan Murphy has revived the horror genre with this series. I have seen it all the way through at least 5 times now and I am still seeing stuff I have missed previously.

The first season of AHS is still my favorite by far. If youre looking to get started on this series or just want to add it to your collection, you cant go wrong with this one.

Absolutely wonderful movie series! It has lots of gut-wrenching scenes and ends on an almost "The Sixth Sense" feeling. Volumes 2 and 3 are not as good but am hoping Volume 4 is a return to form.

An intriguing show that leaves you wondering why you started watching. However, it draws you into the series and you catch yourself wanting to watch the next episode without delay.
